Pics of M3 spoiler from Xenonspecialists
I just received my m3 spoiler from Xenonspecialists and installed it today. I think I might have put it a little too far forward but overall I'm happy with the results.
I know the pictures kind of suck but I thought I'd share them anyways.

Understated is always better on sedans, IMO.

looks good I'm actually waiting for mine to come in now too...How long did you have to wait from when you purchased it, I've been waiting close to 7 days now.

i have one too, i love it, color matches perfectly for my nighthawk black (even has blue sparkles in it!!).
anyways, the trunk does pop a little less when i use the remote, but it still pops up.
i've heard people say with the other lip spoilers (usually bigger ones), that it doesn't pop up anymore.

It pops but just barely. It's nice tho in case you accidentally hit the trunk button while keys are on your pocket or wherever. This way can't tell if youre trunk's open or not unless you walk up beside it.

Living the Dream
I never thought about doing this...until I saw the pics. It looks pretty damn sweet!! And you can't beat $70 (just saw it on Ebay)
I see that you have CGP, does it match color very well?
Does it install pretty easy? Anyone have any problems with the adhesive not working very well?
Just a few questions to reduce anxiety of it not working out well, then screwing up my paint with the adhesive.
Thanks

nice shots of the lip. how much further back do you think it should go? you mentioned in your first post that you thought you put it a little too far forward. how far back did the rest of you that have the m3 lip from xenonspecialist put it? i should be getting mine this coming week.

You can also place a piece of tape in front of it and even behind it so you know how far forward or backward you want the spoiler to lie.
Also, I think mine is a little farther back then the pics I see above. I think that was the most difficult part since if you put it too far back, it kind of hangs over the curve of the trunk. Here's a pic

Genuine Honda Ducktail Spoilers
Hey guys, i've been talking with Morris at Boomplustoys and he said he can get OEM (europe) colormatched "ducktail" spoilers for our TSX. the price he quoted was (gasp!) $449 + $25 ship. is anyone interested in a group buy?
