Painted my '04 grill (lcrazyaznl copycat)
sorry thats the only pic i have from my phone since my computer wont upload pics right now
but it looks better than i expected, prob one of my favorite things ive done.

People did this prior to lcrazyaznl, just so you know (I was one of them when I had my car in the shop after a break-in two years ago).
Anyway, you seem to have done a great job, and the front of your car looks really clean. Nice work.

Haha audioserf it was like people like you that made me do the whole painted grill =)
Looks great i need repaint mine since the paint isn't holding up with all the rockchips.

I think that's a common problem when painting fake chrome molding. My grille bits were painted by a bodyshop and they're rockchipped up too... you probably can't avoid that, man. Also, your car is my favorite ABP for sure. It's one of the only instances (ever) that I think chrome wheels look great.

Yea i agree i'm not a fan of chrome at all but these ronjon in chrome grew on me.
Yea i think its not too bad that my grill lasted for a whole winter here in buffalo, along with the several 450mile drives i do.

Looks great! It definitely looks much more clean with the grill painted. I've been debating on doing this mod for the longest time. I do mostly highway driving though so I'm worried that the paint won't hold up over the long run.
