does it ever snow there in houston? my freshman roommate never saw snow before in his life, he's from san diego. he flipped out.
She said: it's GINORMOUS!
LOL. some drivers must have been, "OMG OMG, how do i drive? what do i do?"

hehe man it NEVER snows here! its always hot. we get like maybe a weeks worth of 'cold days' and thats our winter... as soon as its below 70 degrees we bust out with all kinds of jackets and coats. hahah. the last time it really snowed in houston was 1989. it flurried in 1994... but not since.
as far as drivers go, nah they didnt drive really slow or anything--though they should have. houston has some of the worst aggressive drivers ever.. ppl were spinnin out on the freeway and causing major accidents but i was straight.
something funny was when it started to snow... i saw this asian family look up... yell something to each other and started running because they thought it was rain.... im like wait.. rain doesnt come down that slow. then everyone looks up in amazement... just staring.

The first time I ever went to Texas...was driving in from Oklahoma and my friend and I saw the welcome to Texas sign. It had something along the lines of Texas drivers being friendly or something...we looked at each other and busted out laughing.. Of course we almost got run over by a couple of pickup trucks around Dallas. We were surprised we didn't get welcomed before we hit Dallas

It snowed all the way down in Brownsville as well, which is about as far South TX as you can get. I think it is a first ever. It would've been funny to see the reactions down there.
