Did you buy the CT supercharged seperate or did it come with the kit?

 

Bought the whole kit. The rest is in the box. I just took a picture of the blower and cf manifold cover.

Sorry. I should have been clearer. Did the CF man cover come with the kit? If so, did you pay extra for it? My kit came with a blank cover. I'm wonderng if the newer kits (I got mine during Marcus's turkey day special ) now come with the company logo type of stuff on it. I would prefer that cover I just don't want to have to buy it. Mine goes in in 9 days.

Yes, the CF manifold cover came with it. I think there's three versions.

1) Comptech Engineering - they sent it out blank, but included a "Comptech Supercharged" sticker to put on it
2) CT-E v1 - blank
3) CT-E v2 - the one I have with the logo on it

I'm a big fan of the one they sent me.

@ xjohnkdoex - I'm running the reflash; it's included in the S/C kit purchase price, so why not? When I have some more money together down the line, I'll be going K-Pro along with a high-boost pulley and getting the tuning done.

@ Chadwick - Luck's got nothing to do with it! I'd like to give a shout out to Visa. Hahaha...

@ kdubz - I'm sure we'll both be at a meet again this year. You should try to come through the UMASS Amherst Motor Sports show on May 2nd. I should be there.

Going to drop the car off in a bit... I'm PSYCHED!

You could go to Grafixpressions.com and pick up the "i-Vtec Supercharged" decal they sell. I was going to do that if I got a blank one... think it should look pretty good.

Haha, you know, it WAS nice having a paid-off credit card for a few months.

 

How much power gain are you looking at? When will you get it fitted?

 

It's on but I'm having CEL problems (that I think are being caused by an improperly connected or bad knock sensor). Hoping to have it fixed tomorrow, or at least know what I need to do to fix it...

(this is incredibly frustrating)
