yeah im kinda worried about the airbags on the TSX... to tell the truth the accidents ive seen, including my one big accident, air bags have not gone off... I meen 21 in Az's car was totalled, he hit the windsheild and the bag never went off

 

but wil the pass airbags go off when it doesn't sense a passenger in the seat?

Damn...that's a pretty solid hit. And odds are that the airbag would not go off in this situation since there was no passenger in the seat and the impact was a side impact on the passenger side (thus no side airbag deployment).

Regardless, that sucks man. Who's fault was the accident? I'm assuming the other driver.

 

How does it look from inside the car? Would the passenger have been hit by the door?

Seriously though, is your B-pillar bent?

If not, you should get away with not much more than replacing the 2 doors, and having your airbags inspected.

Why are you guys stressin about the airbags? The side front and side impact airbags do not go off when this is no one sitting in the passenger seat. The car acted as it was supposed to in that type of collision.

theres no possible way he could get hurt by being hit on the passenger side? i dunno, i was thinking about this for a long time and wondering if there would be a reason for the airbag to go off or not on a side impact...i dunno.
