new sub set up

So today i installed the new sub box and the new face plate. The subs are Jl Audio 10W6V2's with a Jl Audio 500/1 amp. I used dynomat on the whole trunk and the bumper and the doors. I also installed a volume control for the Amp right next to the shifter. Then i installed my new sirius radio above the windshield. the sound of these subs is amazing, they hit so hard and clean. The install was relatively easy and didnt take that long. I had my cousin and his buddy help me. I hope you all like

I love your sub volume knob install, but I hope you never need your spare tire now!

Looks good, trunk is clean. I was always kind of uneasy about mounting anythng by the a-pillar because if the airbag were ever to go off, the sirius unit is going to be a pojectile.

i can actually still get it out, i just cut the cover for it right where the end of the box is and it folds up, and it comes out just fine.

LAXdog, if you can deal with just one driver YOU CAN GET a custom TSX sub enclosure that allows lots of trunk room!
Here is mine from avincar
another post shows a bike in the trunk along with the Sub (which was my reason for going this route)

check out avincar's stuff over in the Audio & Video forum

ya, thats all it needs. I talked to a guy at Jl audio and he said that the 500/1 amp is the perfect amp for all of their subs except the 13W7. If i had gotten the 1000/1 amp it would have voided the warranty on the subs. the subs optimal power is at about 400 watts. i know that sounds crazy, but thats what the guy said. I have it wired so each sub is gettin about 400-500 wats continuous.
