New Delivery........

Well after about 7 months of waiting it finally arrived.........

The Front:

The Rear:

The box that has the sides in it..........

................. and no worries about the hole the skirt seems to have no damage.

I still need to buy some hardware and get the rear bumper fixed(which I don't have the money for right now).

I hope to have it on in the next few weeks and not use the double sided tape on the rear lip, so I can take it off easily to get the bumper fixed once I get some extra cash.

I should be getting mine soon too and I am also looking for the hardware for it. I just called two dealers near by and they say they don't sell the hardware for 04-05 or 06-07 seprate. I don't know where I'm going to get it.

now to see some pictures with the parts installed. I notice the dog looking out the window-expecting a present.

so awesome. i want mine now. aj-racing said it's supposed to arrive this month.

it would be awesome if you documented your install step-by-step. from what i've told it's like the OEM kits, but you probably have to take those air cover things (the black ribbed covers) out.

did you get any extra clips/bolts/hardware for the install? or are you going to use the existing bolts/clips and double-sided tape?

hurry up and put it on, I finally got my side skirts this past Saturday from Heeltoe after another 7 months (ordered back in January)...the first time, DHL damaged them in transit. The original order was placed last September. Good luck on the install.

i planned on doing a DIY months ago, but being that I've waited so long I don't know if I will take the time to photo every step.

I already have some of the hardware, but I will be hitting up the local Honda dealer tomorrow for the rest of it.

get some wheel well or black car molding (backed with 3m tape) and apply it to the front edge underside of the front lip. this will help protect against scrapes on the underside of the lip if you bottom out the front end of the car. I learned this the hard way, after I scraped a couple of times. Now, any time I scrape the front, it actually scrapes the molding and not the lip itself. hope this helps.

you can pick it up at pepboys or autozone....even body shop supply store should carry this, just ask for wheel well molding, sorry I don't have pics right now.

if i strike out at Honda I will be heading to pepboys to get the parts as we discussed a couple months ago and while i'm there i'll ask about the molding.

is the black piece of plastic you remove to install the lip not reusable because isn't that the purpose of that piece?

yeah, you can't use the black lip under the front bumper anymore, but save it for future use. you will have to remove the fog light surround pieces (body colored) in order to install the lip as well

holy double post.

hey, if you get the hardware, could you possibly just post how much you paid for it or what the dealerships are charging you?

i had originally emailed acura of escondido and they said it's like $100-something for the clips/bolts which seems rather ridiculous.

right now I think i'm looking at less than $40 for the hardware, some from Honda and some from Pepboys

i see.

yeah, i called around some honda and acura dealerships, and all of them don't sell the hardware separate from the kit. i wonder if i just have to pick up the pieces individually.

Nice delivery - love the clean look of the 06' Euro lip. Can't wait to see pics of it once its installed.

Just to add to 98civex's suggestion - I bought the black plastic molding from PepBoys also. It's actually the molding that people can buy to place along the length of a door to protect from like door dings, etc. It's sold in like a 16ft roll with 3M adhesive on the back side and is bendable to follow the curves. It's saved the underside of my Mugen bumper a couple times already - actually got the idea from Lito

i'm going to have to look into that stuff. i'd hate to spend all this money for the kit only to scrape it on some crappy NYC parking lot or driveway.

do you by chance have a pic of it on the car??

so i can get an idea of how much I should install on the car and don't go overboard with it on the underside of the lip

i'm definitely going to get some because the TSX is my wife's primary car and I know she'll eventually scrape it.
