Does anybody have any pics of what the metal look trim kit looks like? The dealer didn't have one to show me.

Use the search:

Overpriced pieces of silver painted plastic merely stuck on top of the regular dash, imho.

It costs the dealer something. I'd rather they throw in another $400 (Cdn) in accessories, or knock $200 off the car price. Oh well, it's subjective anyway. KuyaW, you've seen the pics; get it if you like it.

I saw a pic on here of the euro accord that had a metal trim piece that just went down the sides of the center console. I thought that looked a lot better then the kit we get over here. dose anyone have a pic of it and know if we can buy that kit anywhere online?

Sorry to find this ... I saw a pic in the gallery and instantly want one, as the stock "meshy" looking plastic pieces are cheap and developing permanent smudges.

There's one in the "modified photo gallery," which is what got me really interested. I really don't like how the stock "pattern" surfaces look. Even after a year in the previous owner's hands, they seem to have picked up some kind of internal smudging or something (maybe used wrong cleaning method)?

If they only just stick on top ... yuck. I'd want to take the pieces off and replace them. By any chance has any brave soul tried that?

Oh, and there's a very clear pic in this thread. one of a few complaints ... note how the piece for the shifter quadrant doesn't wrap around the shifter inset ... just goes up the sides. That's a deal-breaker for me. If you're going to replace some interior trim, replace it, not just some of it. :P

At least one owner who has it says you can REALLY tell that it's stuck on top. I.e., a really cheap look.

Here is a company that offers aftermarket kits for the TSX, only problem is that the not an ashtray cover comes in two pieces instead of molded, but it does across that gap at the shifter. You could order this kit and then just order the not an ashtray door OEM cover as just one piece. Or here you can get a CF trim kit too..... Just a thought
