So tonight was one of the last clear nights we'll be having here in Portland, so I figured I'd take advantage of it. I also experimented with some HDR shots, these are my first ones so don't rag me too hard LOL!

HDR shots look like regular shots, but the pictures look great regardless.

Those are some sweet shots. I love shot #1 the best. I can make out every detail on the ground and stuff.

aren't hdr shots suppose to be difference setting shots merged together?

 

Yes, the ones I shot were +2 EV 0 EV and -2 EV, looking in hindsite I should have shot +4EV +2EV 0EV -2EV and -4EV, but like I said it was my first attempt lol.
