Just got Clear Bra on an 05 CG. Pix inside
Just got my clear bra installed from Central Valley Clear Bra this morning. I paid $540 total for the front without the headlights. I think it came out really well. Is the line noticeable? Yes. (But I know it's there) That being said, it's better than paint chips. Here are some pix and you can decide for yourselves if you want a clear bra or not if you have a CG.

Is your OEM lip covered as well?
I only have a couple of small chips in my front after 15 months, but they're both on my lip.
Do they make the film specifically for a given car or do they just cut it to fit? If it's model specific would they even have it for the lip?

The companies that make the film make printouts designed for a given car. The installer can order the pre-cut films or if he has a big graphics printer, can print out pre-cut designs for your car. My installer had a printer in his home so he printed it out.

That's the way it should be. I've had mine (CG/6Spd/Navi) done at the dealer and he is going to try a third time next week
First time he supposedly used the wrong film, second time he did it while they were polishing the car and there's garbage stuck under the film and the forwad edge is all uneven.
How does your forward edge fair with the chrome trim and the edge of the hood?

I watched him install it 
He used Avery Denison film because he claims it looks much better on dark cars. I'll believe it As for the front edge, it's honestly perfect, the gap between the edge of the plastic and the edge of the hood is like 1/16". He did a great job.

Great job with the photos. I had my CG done the day I picked it up and it looks exactly the same, nice work. Its not even noticible on the car from a few feet away. People initially notice the line on the hood and figure out its a film. Then I have to show them the fender and mirrors which werent obvious until I told them.
The bumper and the lip is practically invisible. People dont believe its coated until I tell them it is and show them the edge around the fender well.
I do notice the bra attracts dust. I wonder how it will look after a zaino treatment this fall? Well that will be multi zaino treatments. Probably 2 coats at first, then a few more later.

The installer told me to use a spray called Plexus instead of wax on the film itself. He said to use your wax of choice on the rest of the car but to use this Plexus wax for the bra. I believe it's a specialized polyurethane wax.
