Just one piece of advice : Toda headers do make a little more noise and better power at VTEC zone, however, there is some loss of torque at lower end. Seems that fuel consumption goes up too.

I have been thinking of doing a DIY on the whole exhaust system to balance the torque for low and high end but don't have time to work on this yet. Perhaps we can take this off line to discuss later. I am now travelling in Hong Kong and time to see any new CL7 goodies.....

The Type S is 2.4L and producing 200bhp. Manual & auto versions exist. The Euro R is 2.0 L, producing 220 bhp. Honda says that the 2.4 is almost equivalent to the 2.0 performance Euro R.

The US version has some cosmetics difference like the radio console as compared to the JDMs.

Where are the Accord made in SA?

Well they are after market and 4 pieces strategically arranged to annoy me whenever in reverse mode. They are on my back bumper and perhaps some initial pic were taken before they went on. It has a useful read out distance and pretty good accuracy. Picked it up during one of my China trips and mostly made there.

Hie,

Well, the newly added mods DTM under carriage bars simply run parallel with the side skirts. The rear DTM bar repalces the accident bar in the rear bumper, but certainly adds more solid feel. One thing I have noted is that the chassis is much more stiff and in cornering, there is little creaks as the geometry of the turns are much more accurate with less roll or "flexing" feel.

My schedules in work is very tight for the first quarter. Please excuse me.

The photos on the earlier pages , please click on them for larger views.

I still have some new possible mods coming along. Thus, will be busy getting them done and perhaps then, another round of pics.

Well, the work on my car has slowed down as little time due to work & travelling.

I have a Mugen 2004 lower front lip, a Mugen whole bumper and currently using the Feel's front lower lip and grill. I am wondering if I should do complete Mugen set up or stay with my Feel's look for time being.

Just so many small bits to do and spending my free time on other house matters.

Oh, thanks. Just trying all types of stuff from DIY customised to commercially available. The experiments brought me much in depth learnings.

My meters display is just 2 rows of 3 of 65mm and front 4 at 52mm right in centre. Other meters are scattered around.

That is the problem I have now. The pics u see is the Mugen full bumper and since those pics, I have switched over to Feels lower lip and the grill with the parrot beak smacked in the middle. Thinking of switching over to Mugen 03 lower lip and putting back my Mugen grill for a Mugen look. Just too much trouble with changing looks and honestly, having 3 options is a pain to decide. My next problem is coming and the project is a bonnet. Thus, decisions n decisions....

The Feels lower lip fits over the stock Euro R lip, thus adding "front heavy". Wahhahaha. Anyway, it flows very well with the Mugen side and rear lips. Makes me wonder if Feel's actually design this to fit Mugen side and rear look. Seems like it.

Side view of the new look ...............

The SPOON engine damper....I am not so keen on this one but did it to have feedback on this Mod. Would not recommend this Mod as it changes engine wail and vibrations are much felt in cabin from steering to engine chasis....

For those curious on the bonnet vents : It was suppose to be single grill and see through into engine bay, I made a DIY to make it less visible and also to minimise the rain from going in. The funny thing about the bonnet grill is that even opened, not much water gets in...but plenty of heat gets out......

I rearranged the battery area and hid off the battery capacitor discharger and the problem of having this heat shield (the red cover piece behind the battery) for the HKS Open Pod. Cleaning the filter indeed a challenge to dismantale the stuff around...

The angel eye and the net covering the foggies. The net helps to reduce stones that apparently cracked quite a few of our cars foggies at high speeds...

Thanks! Was looking at the Evo 10 and wondering how evil I can make it to be, but with the credit crunch, better wait and see what will be happening. Problem is that I like Mit & Honda and this does not offer much of a range. Then, an Evil10 is just another turbo school of thoughts and somehow, the VTEC is still making a wonderful, balanced drive.

Maybe I keep this Euro R for a while as done too much and see if there will be a successor Euro R. Rumour has it that no more Euro R and this takes the flat out of the fun.....
