CL9
- JDM Accord
K24 200hp, 5SP tritronic. 0-100 around 8s.
Outside Japan, they made the K24 as the "euro" model i.e not the "euro R" but more or less like the "euro R".....

This is the front for driver and passenger side. Rear ones, some self bending needed to fit the curves. Original set was meant for the CM5 or CM4 model. The front fits over the pastic scuffs in much bigger coverage and looks nice in chrome and the protruding Accord words.

In stock set up, there is no rubber plastic piece that covers up from the front axle backwards. The stock comes with a plastic piece till where the under pan of the engine oil pan is. The oil pan is quite low down and exposed, so a real easy problem to get a whack and cracks it.
So, what I have done, I customised a front lower arm aluminimum bar that locks into the 2 front arm bolts by making a customised brackets (as the bolts sit deep inside) and have the aluminimum stut bar (yes, it is the same aluminimum strut bar for the top) across and "protecting" any knocks to my bar first instead of the oil pan. The lower strut gets hit all the time but beats the hell of having a cracked oil pan.
If you want to make a customised metal plate for below the car (often used with WRXs and Evos), it can be done as long you can raise up the car and do some simply measurements of where you could mount. Just watch out for your headers and flanges and the cat. Problem is that it will be too low.

Made by EGR in Australia. Comes in plastic acrylic but had it sprayed black. Then now I sprayed it red to body colour. My next pic will show this and makes the colour front another look.
The eye covers are also made by EGR. There is a black carbon trimming for the light covers but better stay with clear ones as they look better. Unless your car is black, else the carbon ones look strange with 2 holes for the lights to project out.
So get a set of both. They call it the TSX (Euro R) Euro Model in Aussie land....

The black was orginally such that painted in reverse, so acrlic on the top while the black paint below. Now the top is red and makes the car look a little fiercer i think..... Hang on, as heavey heavy rain the last 3 weeks and floods too. No sunshine to shoot a few shots....so sad. wet christmas too...

I am busy in my regional job as much as the Accord Club (loads of activities) and my family etc. It has also been raining for the past few weeks and the car gets dirty or timing out for a photo shot when I have some spare time.
Cooleh could vow for me as we see each other frequently. The weather is simply raining.
I agree with most that I simply need to get this done and between a next mod and some pics, guess I am in for the former first.....wahahahah!

Hehehe, not really, just some touches here n there. I am looking for some FRP panels if any. There is carbon bonnets but so far, I have resisted all aftermarket bodykits and CF bonnets. I have been thinking of it and simply waiting for the options surface....

Where can I order the EGR hood protector from?

Made by EGR in Australia. Comes in plastic acrylic but had it sprayed black. Then now I sprayed it red to body colour. My next pic will show this and makes the colour front another look.
The eye covers are also made by EGR. There is a black carbon trimming for the light covers but better stay with clear ones as they look better. Unless your car is black, else the carbon ones look strange with 2 holes for the lights to project out.
