Introduction of my car and diys

I'm TL TOURER,I live in Japan.
Now I own the accord wagon(sorry not TSX),
but I especially like the ACURA-CARS

I go to US once a year! I really like US!!
Gathering ACURA-GUYS, my best regards.

My job is so busy, so my answer might be late.
but I answer the questions as soon as possible.

This is my car

Type of LEDS

I use some kinds of LED
Show this picture.

Always I use No.3.
The part doesn't have enough space,I use No.1.
I get these LEDS by internet-shops.

Original light color is amber.
I don't like this color,so I change light color into blue using blue leds.

Mr.Chris_F
Thank you for visiting My web site!
It is difficult for me to send you my diy parts, so so sorry.
My job is very busy,so I come back my home late at night.
I don't have enough time to make lot of diy parts.

Mr.Supraken
I use these LEDs
I guess you can get these LEDs in the US easily
If you want same information please let me know!

Thank you

Talking Wagon Version

Hi Mr.jlukja
Welcome to my thread.
Accord Wagon is not sold in the US.
And we can't buy ACURA models in Japan.
So I want My Wagon to be ACURA-looking!!

Fr view looks like TSX,but rr view is not same.

Very nice looking. I really wish they made a wagon version of the TSX. I could use the space.

Cool ride TL TOURER!

But may I ask why you didn't badge it TSX instead?!? I saw "TL" badge in the rear shot...

Also strange looking at a right-hand drive cockpit, even though I did half my growing in a right-hand drive place not "too far" from Japan

He changed his grill to TL grill and put TL tourer (his sn) on his ride on the rear. He's a TL fan.

I love the TL style grill!! Did you just replace the horizontal piece? or is the entire grill a custom job?

The back looks really good. I like the tail lights especially. The shape of the car resembles the new Dodge Magnum.

I think in another thread, he mentioned that he used a euro-R grill, and bolted on the horizontal piece from the TL with a couple of bolts.

"TL" is the chassis code of our car in Japan. That's how enthusiasts refer to cars over there.

Just like the civics are EF(88-91), EG(92-95), EK(97-00)..."

Tl_tourer... your website has some very cool pictures.
It's understandable that your very busy, no need to apologise

I really like the affect of your DIY angel eyes tho very cool.

I was thinking of buying some h1 globes then breaking the bulbs and replacing them with LED's... i wouldn't know how to get the led's on without the High-beams coming on too... or without them melting if i left the bulbs in.

It'd be very cool if you could post a guide on how to make the angel eyes or email me at chris_8719@hotmail.com with some information.

what resistor, LED and other parts would i need?

Thanks! and nice work on the "TL" tourer. The TL is a nice looking car like yours

i love japan! i want to go so bad!!!

here is a pic of my "honda" tsx =)

Acura/honda

Thanks everybody!
I'm not good at English.
I can't translate difficult English,so sorry.

I load the car with a lot of luggage,so I bought wagon type.
Now TSX looking has been increasing gradually.
I wanted to do all different things,so I choose TL looking.

Mr.TSXDude
Yes I did! I replace the horizontal piece on the grill.
Thank you for kindness,Mr.supraken

Mr.HONgDA
Thank you very much!
TL & RL have LED tail lights ,therefore I remodeled tail light to LED type.
It is an introduction page.
http://www4.zero.ad.jp/garage999/ext.htm

Mr.rtlltj
Wheels are OZ RACING OPERA-1. 18x8J with 225/40/18
Side View of wagon is so wide,so I chose this type.

Mr.matelot
I contribute last year.
It became busy afterwards,so I couldn't post.

Mr.CivicEx1998
I resolved headlight by heat-gun.
I put the shining parts on the front side maker.
(to be TLish headlight)
Amber thing is made by orange clear resin part.
I cut the resin, and I bend it by using heat gun to fit bumper face.

Mr.Chris_F
Thankn you very much!

Mr.dzuy
First time I saw your car, I think your car is EURO-R!
It is interesting that some Japanese like ACURA,some American like HONDA!
Your car is very cool!

Hey TL TOURER-san

No need to say sorry for your English... your posts are written very well, no problem communicating here I've seen posts from English speaking people that are not read-able and no way to understand.

So I got two different answers from users about your TL badging. Can you tell me (us) what the correct answer is? Is "TL" really the body style code for the car so you badge it?

I thought the TSX body code is CL7 or something like that... anyone else to input on this?

Good morning!

There is 17hors(west coast) time difference.
"-san" is a meaning of Mr.in Japanese

05_TSX_GP-san

My car's body code is CM2.
Spec of CM2 is 200ps DOHC VTEC L4 AT.
Engine code is K24,same as TSX
Am I answering accurately?

For the reference
CM1 : 2000 DOHC VTEC
CN2 : 2200 DOHC TURBO DIESEL(For EU only)

BlackTSX-san
I made so many proto-type LED tail lights
Considerable time hung though it was made.
I am very satisfied because I had a hard time.
Now I am making LED tail light for sedan.(for my friend)(
Even completion is far.(laugh)
