i hit a deer.
well coming home about 1 am Saturday night i hit a deer, bent the hood, cracked the bumper, buckled my fender (really hard to see), and destroyed my German tag and frame 
a cop was behind me when i hit it interestingly enough so i didn't have to call them lol. oh and you can see deer fur in the hood in the darker picture, the lighter one i took later so most of it had been blown out, but the pictures dont do the damage justice, its worse than what they show

Were you going 5 mph or it must have been Bambi? You made it out with hardly any damage. Glad you're okay and the car looks relatively good.

i hit a huge buck doing 60, i was just lucky cause i basicly hit the back legs out from under him and he flipped into the ditch not onto my car, the cop couldnt believe the size of the deer and how fast i was going with only that little amount of damage either

Damn sorry to hear. I know the feeling and it sucks. Good thing it went over and not into the windshield.

That's my only nightmare when riding by bike at night!!! or early morning!! I had one close call with a deer about a month ago while I was on my Gixxer and it scared the shit out of me!!!!

What'd your shop quote you for fixing the damage?

the shop my insurance made me get the estimate from was $1500 and that was just to paint over the damage and pop the dent out of the hood, the shop i go to said the dent in the hood made the rest of the hood buckle up and the fender buckle up so theyll both have to be replaced to get it perfect and the bumper is cracked so thatll have to be replaced too, so its going to be alot higher than the original estimate but thats why i go to the shop i do cause they get everything back to the way it came off the showroom floor but insaurance is covering it except the $500 deductable

Well at least you were ago as well as the deer minus the cuts and hard hit. Damage didn't look bad at all. Very lucky. Glad you're back on the road in your fresh Tsx!
