Headlight mod pics
Here are some pics of the headlights. It's not completely finished yet because I am waiting for spray tint to arrive. Also, I'm trying to find some design that keeps a little of the amber reflector in tact. I want to have some amber showing so I don't get questioned during inspections. If you have any ideas feel free to share. I have some tape on them now to show what I am thinking of doing so far. Thanks for the help guys!
The last pic is just to show what it looks like so far..I'll post more when I finish.

Looks great!
Please post some pics when you get this done. I wanted to do this also, along with the angel eyes mod.
I think Nocturnal did this mod a ways back before he ditched us for the EVO.
j/k

the side-marker won't put out as much light, but they are only on when the headlights are on which means it will probably be dark enough for you to still see them. Also, the part that is taped on the amber reflector will still be amber so the light will still shine through that like it did before. The rest of the headlight will still put out the same amount of light.

Just a little update. Got the spray tint today and finished resealing the housing. Because I had so much time, I decided to pull most of the original caulk out of the housing and replaced it with new caulk when I resealed. So now I have 24 hours for a full cure. I decided to pull the original caulk out because the last time I did this with my civic's headlights, the original caulk kept the housing from sealing properly, so I had to re-do the project. Anyway.....here are some updated pics. Tomorrow they'll be on the car.
Looks like the tint still allows the reflector to shine through pretty well so I shouldn't have any problems with state inspections.

Haha...thanks! I tried to get the toes out of the way, but I guess I failed miserably.
The headlights are on the car. I had to use a flashlight to get them on, then turned the car on and used the headlights to illuminate my garage to finish putting the bumper back on. I'd post pics, but I'm embarrased to put any up until I wash my car...and it's raining right now

Im not trying to be a buthole but i hope u did not use caulk !,caulk is waterbased and will cause your headlights to fog up,I know from expierence with doing headlights u must use a clear kitchen bathroom silicone. If thats what u used sorry for this post but yeah the best seal u can get is put them back in the oven warm the glue back up,And put a lil clear silicon in the with the black glue while its warm and press the 2 pieces together hard as u can.The clear silicone just seals up the lil spots the black glue dont make it to .Also, the reason for clear silicon is that if u get it anywhere its not suppose to be its not a royal pain to remove .When the silicon drys it just rubs right off ur healight parts u can reach on the outside..again sorry if someone already posted this , david
