Mugen Equipped, before & after

Hey guys a couple weeks back, I had a pretty nasty spill involving my TSX and a curb, the curb won…

Before…definitely not a good look.

ASPEC lip bit the dust, so I decided to try something different…


Mugen’d out…


Oh noo, is that headlight condensation…


The weather was nice here in the GTA today...I had just got my car back from the stealership after a unfortunate accident involving a service ramp and my car. Anyway I decided to give it a good wash and snap a few pictures.

Not a fan of the trunk badge. Aside from that, looks good. You have one of the better fitting Mugen grilles I've seen on the 04/05. Anything special you did to achieve that?

Mod suggestion - I like the middle section of the rear mugen lip to be painted black.

Nice upgrade btw, but rims are a must. soon.

If it's an authentic Mugen kit, I'm quite disappointed.
I agree the front lip fitment is kinda off.

and for asthetics next, I would suggest JDM lights.

It is indeed a replica kit, the fitment of the side skirts and the rear under-spoilers were amazing they fit like a glove. However the front was always kind of off, most likely due to a bad mold. Since then I have replaced the front piece with a new one this one fits a lot better.

Wow, really? I thought the fitment was okay. I understand they are not designed for our bumpers so the fitment is always going to be slightly off.

Thanks! The wheel was beyond repairable I had to buy a new one. Surprisingly the tire was fine though.

Thanks vthree… The roof actually bent and kind of warped in and around the area of the sunroof. I had the body-shop fix it to the best of their ability.

Thanks, I also think it looks a lot better and more aggressive.

I was also disappointed on the fitment of the front. I guess that’s what you get for buying replicas. I do admit that Peter’s molds are a lot better than others. JDM headlights are definitely on my wish list, however next I will be getting a pair of password JDM yellow fogs!
