Very very very very very very very very good price for Llumar on a TSX! You obviously didn't have moleskin or felt installed though. And for that price i'm gonna have to say you are on the east coast. I won't touch a TSX for less than 2 bills.

It looks nice! Congrats.

Hmm, odd. I got 20% Global tint all around and it seems as dark as Llumar 35's. My friend got Llumar 20's on his car and it's noticably darker then mine.

Either way, looks nice

It's a liner that goes on the inside of your door panels so that your film doesn't get scratched. Some people still get scratches. I reecently took apart the tsx door panels to try and locate what scratches the windows. Couldn't find anything except the hard rubber lining on the inside of the door panel. I am starting wonder if something inside the door does it.

red_tsx- www.tintcenter.com or www.tintdude.com are pretty good resources for state laws. The best thing to do though is to find out the exact number of your states window tinting law and search for it on the net. Then yo can read the exact law and be ready for any cops that pull you over. The laws wil even tell you what it takes to legally tint your windows sarker than the law allows. In WA all you pretty much need is a Dr's note saying you have sensitive skin.

Yeah, I noticed a baby seat attachment in the backseat.

I'm glad you posted this blacktsx05. I have wanted to get tints and was hoping I could find someone with 35% all around. I'm a fan of a consistent color of tint around. Though I like how dark the 20% is, I couldn't get away with it. Cops suck here in Ohio too, but not as bad, it seems, as NY.

^^There's several good brands. I think you just don't want to go with some one-off, no-name brand. More trouble than it's worth.

CJams is better qualified to comment on this, as he installs tint professionally. It comes down to you get what you pay for. The installer has a lot to do with it, too.

One recommendation, carry a set of towels in the car. My son puked in my car about 2-3 months ago, 2 separate occassions. The second time I had towels and it made cleanup a lot easier.

You'll love it when you can turn them around to face forward.

I live in Tennessee and just got the windows tinted on my '05 SSM TSX. The tinter only charged me $150 for the job (Llumar tint - 35% on sides and back). I am very pleased with the results.

After hearing the warning of tint scratches on the TSX, I was a little apprehensive about rolling down the window for the first time (I waited about 3 days and man did I hate that being a drive-through junkie). I am happy to say that several roll downs and ups later there are no scratches on it.
