Talking godfather2's build & showoff thread (Update: Real Pics Page 8)

acurazine,

took some really quick pics of the car this morn before walking into the office. car is filthy from sitting at the shop for about a week, but you get the idea. better pics will come soon as i intend to detail the tsx before a local meet here fri night.

any questions,
vinny

aluminum exhaust is roughly 17 pounds with better piping than greddy evo 2
stock like exhaust tips for stealth
magnaflow muffler and resonated mid-pipe (no mid-muffler)

rotora bbk is beautiful and stops effortlessly
rear calipers in black look good too
ah, black buddy club lugs to finish it off

oem-ish fogs

custom springed ksport kontrol pro dampers (10/6 kgf/mm, on softest setting for now)
lowered another 1/2" - rides nearly identically to tein basics, maybe a little bouncier

elated to say the least and i'm not done yet

new seats are approx 28lbs each and the oem units way a TON! easily 45-50lbs.

not sure what my old greddo evo 2 or oem exhaust weigh, but definite weight savings there too.

buddly club lugs are lighter than stock, but i'm unsure about the bbk.

coilovers are slightly lighter than tokico/tein combo (didn't get em on a scale, but you can feel the difference).

overall, the car lost a few pounds, improved it's overall look and comfort, and is a better performer =)

never been a fan of leather seats, especially the cheap leather trim of the oem seats

Looks great Vinny. I love the Corbeau microsuede; I have the A4's in Microsuede black/grey in my Accord in the wide version Enjoy your mods.

PrecyseStylez, Corbeau does make leather seats.

Great looking seats. Every time I'm at your shop I sit in the LG1 and want to order a set. Some day... that's after the blower though!

Car's looking good Vinny.

Welcome to the BBK club! Although I'm not exactly sure of the weight reduction, the rotora bbk is lighter than OEM.

Are your Corbeaus damaged? The plastic at the upper shoulder harness area seems to be chipped/scraped on both seats.

i'll give it a couple more days to settle in and will most likely go lower. i've got to be careful, however, because i drive so damn much and i don't want to sacrifice too much comfort.

i should be in charlotte in march .... COME THEN, J

haha that's just the box with my old suspension setup in it waiting for a new owner!

the k sports are terrific! almost unlimited adjustibility and with my custom springed setup, it's pretty damn comfortable.

the dampers were set to full soft all the way around, but today i adjusted them just a bit:

3/4 soft in front and 7/8 soft in rear

i have as compliant a ride now as i did with the tein basics, but the car truly feels planted in the corners ... just phenomenal

who says you can't have your cake and eat it too? i have dialed in my suspension, retained smooth ride, all at a no-brainer price!!!

pics of aluminum exhaust with magnaflow resonator and mufflers:

too heavy for me and huge tips ftl

rt cat owners beware - had to have the flange re-welded on as it was leaking on itself (pretty upset about this since this is already my 2nd one)
