I'm going to guess some type of harness/adapter similar to the Boomslang that allows you to run either the AEM F/IC or the Greddy E-manage with our ECUs...

Closer?

I read this entire thread
you kinda became my tsx-hero... and then I read you want to sell it for a damn s2k

you will regret getting rid of the tsx once you see my build

9k revs...? hell 10k is possible...gt35 needs 10k revs... big turbo spools ftw

ps. when you hit a curb in the rain in the s2k you will want ur tsx back

he hasn't gotten back to me yet.
I sent him all the info, he's researching right now.
said he will call me soon with an answer, I'll pm you
as soon as I hear a yay or a nay from him.
I think he's trying to figure out if he can retrofit
navigation into it or find a way to nicely put an aftermarket
unit in, that's the only negative comment he made at all.

OK, no worries.

Let me know if it works out. If not, thanks for the effort.

Someone produced a bunch of nicely molded and well finished looking brackets for one of the Nuvi navigation units - it fits in the cubby above the "Not An Ashtray". This may have originated on the "other" forum. The finished product looks great, though, and would probably be what your dad's looking for. An actual Navi retrofit will be expensive and time-consuming if you guys don't do your own wiring/labor.

he's a wiring guru and great at that kind of thing.
so the wiring and harnesses don't bother him at all.
I have the ETM, so we're good there. He's strongly considering
doing the swap and I guess he's asking some guy right now about
a full navi unit swap, somebody has one for sale for $1500.

Damn, you and your dad keep it real. Good luck, it would be great if he ends up with Vinny's TSX. You guys could do some nice photoshoots.

very well done. i would be sad to see it go. that steering wheel is the business.

i wish i could afford an s2000 alongside my tsx (i'm not ready to let go). that would be heaven.
