Go on, have a guess........
Teaser with a difference......
It's functional, and something some of you might be interested in putting on yours.

Here's your starter for 10........
It's not a hand grenade, and it' not Seven Of Nine's bikini.
So, let the guessing begin.

I think I know what it is...and if it is that, then I have to apologize to PJs for not helping out (work has been kicking my @$$ all over the place).
If it is what I think it is, I'm glad you were able to end up getting it

Some of you will be very surprised to learn what it is, others will be more "I thought as much".

Machine finish above, Frosted Satin type finish below - the ones I've went with.
Got them to send images of the normal finish after machining the metal before they went off to get frosted.

You obviously don't appreciate the irony of that statement CCC.
No-one makes these, as they are a copy of the Concept TSX/Accord pedals.
So being the only one with these (for now) is hard to understand why I did it?
Look at UP's site and see the 4 style variations they produce - nothing remotely akin to this.

I've been assured the frosted effect hardens the surface, so scratching is lessened.
I understand everyone's initial concern regarding no rubber - but feet can slip off rubber very easily too. It's not a wonder material by any stretch of the imagination. The frosting and grooves should provide grip, after you've wiped your feet on the mat/carpet.
Anyone who doesn't plainly is putting too much faith in the rubber on the pedals or on the soles of their shoes.
We'll see if they are what I envisaged or a costly mistake once I have them, and installed.
