Hahaha, yes, it's obx full cat.

Thanks for the comments, I love the A C U R A word also, i think it's more classy than just the "A" symbol, after-all that is why it is on the TL/CL/ and RL.

Thank's for the comments.

Hey, what kind of filter is that? What size did you need to fit the stock tube? I was thinking about the possibility of using a Apexi dry filter with a setup like yours. BTW...Apexi is the best rated filter there is...and requires no oiling. Also, I like the progress on the grill....not too fond of the chrome grill....nice job overall!

I would love to have A C U R A instead of the A. Can the symbol be removed or is shaving the only way? Seems like that'd be easy to mess up. Also, do you know of anywhere I could get initials made to put in the place of TSX

C_TSX I was wondering about the 2 door too. I'm gonna have to change my underwear. it's hot. the new cl maybe?

Hey,

its just a photochop... its not real unfortunatly but if they ever brought the CL back I wish they'd make it look like that.. I'd get it over a TSX anyday!

It is simple to get the "A" off, just get a srewdriver, A THIN ONE!!!, and wrap a thick towel over it and gently pry it off.

Next, open your trunk, and remove the black clips on the trunk liner. There are 2 little plastic knobs that hold the "A" in (you will see what I mean once you remove the "A") you must push these out to remove them.

All in all, it is VERY simple! It is easyier to remove the "A" than it is to remove the "TSX" because there is no glue behind the "A"!!

Also, I would've bought the 2 door over my tsx also!
but, im holding out for the new SUPRA! 380hp, 420 tq!!

Awesome ride man. Done right so far. Where did you get the letters for Acura and how did you apply them?

Thanks for the "done right" comment!

I got the letter from a ACURA dealer here in scottsdale, AZ.
They were $40 bucks, but I think it was well worth every penny!

As far asa putting them on, it was simple.

1) Remove the "A" by prying it off using a thin screwdriver w/a towel wraped around it. Have no fear, there is NO GLUE!

2) Open your trunk, and remove some of the trunk liner/carpet. When you remove the "A" you will see 2 tan colored plastic holding devices. The only way, as far as I know, to remove them is to get to them from the inside of the trunk.

3) Just align the "A C U R A", remove the paper over the glue, and apply.

It took me about 5 minuts from start to finish, by far the easyiest mod I have done so far.

Good luck, if you ahve any more ?'s, let me know.

Do you think that this type of grill, with the mesh flush with the front of the car, looks better than the mugen or phase, with the mesh recessed into the grill?

Nice car. I really like the 2" drop and the red calipers. The ACURA looks pretty cool but I personally don't care for the custom grill. It looks alright but I prefer the stock grill. All and all nice car.

Thanks for the comment's.

I'm strating to think that the exchaust is lil' to big also....but, untill greedy release an exchaust, it will have to do.

As far as the "A C U R A" goes, I bought a new one from the dealership for about $40, it is the one found on the TL/CL/RL models. I bought this one insteasd of using the on on the car because of the spacing.

My favorite picture right now is defanatly the pic of the back of the car!

It is pretty simple, you just need some diamond mesh (found at any hardwhare store) and scissors.

I took the chrome edge-ing that is around the stock grill, and used that as a template. Once I cut the mesh, i placed it on the car and trimed the top part so that it was even with the hood.

As far as the "acura" on the grill goes, i have done this also, i made it so that i can take it off when i want. I will put it on this weekend and take more pics of it, that way you can see what all my jibberish here is about.....

OK, This is where it get's REALLY confusing without pictures, but here go's.......

When you remove the chrome surronding the grill, there are about 6 holes on the inside of the crome part. I basically sandwiched the grill in between the bumper and the grill peice. I then placed screws through the bumper, through the mesh and into the holes on the chrome.
*it helps if you drill holes for the screw in the bumper, about 5/32 is the proper size.

This sounds terrible for the car, but you will never notice it, just keep your origanl grill for resale value, and your set!

The total time it took me was about an hour, and i had a freind helping me with the screw part, she held while i put it in place.

Once your ready to do this, just take your time and look things over. make sure you feel comfortable about the mod before doing it.

E_lectro, the origanal grill is totally gone.
Good Luck, and let me know if you have anyother questions.
also, post some pics when your done!

That sounds like it was a fun experience. . . I should try that approach: C'mon honey, help me with this mod.

LOL!

HAHAHA, my fault E_LECTRO.......

To tell you the truth, i havent removed the holes yet....i am tonight, or tomorow morning since i start my vaction in about 3 hours.

it should be simple though.....

1. open the trunk
2. remove some of the carpet on the trunk lid
3.there are 2 plastic peices holding the "A" in, push them out from the inside of the trunk.

hopefully this will work, i will let you know tomorow!

I was looking at the 'ACURA' elblems while I was at the dealer having my car serviced earlier... and noticed the one for the MDX is a darker chrome than the CL/TL version. I might think about going that way if I debage my TSX...
