Euro TSX rear fog light finally arrived!!

Just received the package for the Euro rear fog light.
Waited over 3 weeks for the package...due to custom office delay and post-911 check-up on parcel.
I already ordered the fog light switch seperately...hopefully I can get it install after next week.

I'll post more picture once I figure out how to wire it to the switch.

motsx

do you have to wire a switch from the steering console all the way to the trunk?

It's for other drivers to be able to see you.

The rear fog is much brighter. It's just about as bright as your brake lights but it's on all the time.

It that for when you are driving or when you are parked or both? I've occassionaly seen parked cars with a single rear left light on...

It's for driving but it might come on with your parking lights.

they're not supposed to match, there's only 1 rear fog light on most cars

I think rear fogs are such an excellent item on a vehicle. For those who don't know what they look like, if you are driving in the rain or snow, you'll notice the rear spray that comes up and creates a mist around the rear of the vehicle. In Germany, the Autobahn with it's high speeds allows drivers to turn on the rear fog which is a super bright red glow on the rear left side of the vehicle. So, as cars come up from behind you and you are not going 160 klicks like them, they can clearly see your car ahead and most likely, you will be in the middle or far right lane. Having the rear fog light on the left side shows vehicles coming from behind that tell a driver to stay to the left of that light. Make sense? Sorry for rambling?

Some vehicles like the Oldsmobile Aurora, have two rear fogs in the rear bumper. They are bright as hell. I wish they made this light for the TL's, I would get one in a heartbeat.

But then again, they need a product that automatically turns on headlights when wipers are turned on for more than a minute.
