Just spent time reading the articles - smacks to me of a blatant paid for advertisement.
Skunk2 this, Skunk2 that, Skunk2 the other.......come on, do me a favour. Please!
There seems to be a number of errors made in the reporting of various things.
1) New Skunk2 coilovers drop the height 1", yet images show it as practically slammed (even mentioning the word itself).
2) Talk of header releasing 9 bhp, yet dyno graph shows only an 8 bhp difference compared to stock, and that's with air filter/exhaust as well!
3) Air filter positioning - as far away from heat as possible......erm no! That'd be where it's factory fitted position is you numb-nuts!
4) If they want race going road tyres, guess they really should've asked Toyo for their 888's.
I guess since Skunk2 is paying for this advert, it'd be remiss of Comptech's rear swaybar and titanium strutbar to be fitted to help the slalom and skidpan figures.
Also, I can't believe they are so arrogant to think only Brembo make BBK's worthy of inclusion on their vehicle - what about Project Mu, D2, Rotora, etc?
Ooops, forgot, Skunk2 don't sell anything other than Brembo. That explains it then!
Can't say I'm fussed on the wheels either - and their figures would be better if they bothered with a forged set rather than cast.
