I believe it is an 850 watt inverter. It should be able to run the xbox and my laptop for long trips.

First off, nice install, looks good.

The connector on top of the DVD drive...what exactly is that? Iv been looking at a way to get a video signal to the nav screen and have not had much luck. How did you integrate the xbox into the stock nav system?

The way it works is I used a dom's unit for the video and then a unit from mp3yourcar.com The neo ion unit. I had read alot about how people said that unit wouldn't work but I still have a full stock system included xm along with my ipod which I can control through my steering wheel controls. Along with charging it the whole time. I forgot to take pictures of that. Also the mp3yourcar.com unit now comes with an auxillary audio input that you just switch by changing what cd it is on with the cd-c input on.

If you have any more questions I will be glad to answer them I also have the hookup for a backup camera but haven't picked a camera yet. I will get pictures of my ipod later and maybe some of my actual cars.

i'v heard a lot about this "dom's" unit and have even tried the search feature and couldnt find exactly what it is / where to get. Is it the same as the tvandnav2go.com unit?

Thanks and sorry for the basic questions.

On a plus note, just installed mercmans cable in my car with a BALUM, an alpine pdx 100.4 and 1000.1, MB RCE components in the rear deck, and focal vslim 169 (if i remember correctly) in the front doors. Gonna order a FI Q soon, didnt realize they were only paypal and i gotta do a few setup things before i can order, would be so much easier if i could just call and give a CC lol.

New xbox was like 500 with 3 year warranty from bestbuy, the dom's unit was around 220, same for the neo ion unit from mp3yourcar.com . The invertor and install was around 200 then another 100 for a few pieces like monster av cable and velcro.

Do you hvae you inverter hardwired frm the battery? Do you constantly leave it on or only when you use the xbox?

That intercooler voids the warranty on your xbox! not to mention it draws power from your power supply and cause's it to burn up.

Check the xbox forums if you don't believe me.

i have a stock navi in my tsx and i was just wondering if there was also a way to make it play dvds? Ive kinda researched it and ive read some forums that said that its a lot of wiring and it can look messy if i dont get it professionally done but this is something i wanna try on my own without spending a lot of money. Any ideas? thanks

How did you cut the seat? That would make a great woofer port.

Also interested in getting my 360 in the car. Have yet to take a look at the back of the navi but there's gotta be a cheaper way then spending $300+ on the dom's unit and sound unit. VGA is the best video quality for the 360 but I mean it's a small screen to begin with so it shouldn't make that big of a difference. Anyone know of another video input or another alternative?
