Nice pics...tint looks great! Did your body kit come from the factory already on the car or did you put it on afterwards? The reason I am asking is that I am thinking about getting a kit and I am wondering if the paint color on the kit will match up to the Carbon Gray on my TSX. When I look at some pictures of others with the kit, some pics look like the paint doesn't match.

I LIKE IT. BUT FOR ME, IT'S NOT NEARLY AS DARK AS IT SHOULD BE. THE CAR STILL LOOKS HOT THOUGH. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Any issues with your Navi?

I have a 6MT with Navigation. I want to get tints as well.
Can you tell me if you are having any problems with your navingation after installing the metallic tint? Or is the tint
non-metallic?
Thanks for the info!

yes, its the percentage of light transmitted. so 5% is very little light, hence limo dark

Okay, xizor has confused me...

Are the legal tint limits different for each state, as I imagine they would be? If so, does anyone know where to go to find out (besides calling a tint shop)?

The number people usually refer to when talking about tinting is the amount of light that can be transmitted through the tint. So a 5% tint allows much less light than a 50% tint....which means the 5% is darker.

yes each state differs.....if you want to find the legal limit for your state, just google your state + "tint limit" or call your DMV.

Thanks, yuhoo. I don't know why I didn't think of that.

Ah, I found this little gem . It's a table for the state limits for front sides, rear sides, and back windows. Hopefully it makes up for my dumb question. (For US only, sorry.)

Now can anyone post a picture with 35%? I'd like to see it vs. the 50%.

Oh and thanks for the link to the table of state tint limits. Does anyone know will I be able to get tint in front at a shop in Jersey even though it's illegal? Let me know if you know of anywhere in North Jersey.

yes, shops will do illegal, but in some cases you must be in cash and they wont give you a receipt. it probably varies.

Yes in Jersey they will do all around, I had it done years ago on my first car (not that many years ago) but got pulled over and ticketed so took it off (it was limo tint - 5% which didn't help).

As far as how 35% looks I have it on my NBP TSX and it looks great - not too dark or too light. I'm sure you can find many pics here by searching for a bit but if not I'll post some soon. If you're going to risk it and tint all around you might as well go with 20% though. That looks best IMO, but is too dark on my car to still be legal in PA.
