Well, after making a dork out of myself today on the forums [4banger should be my nickname from now on, and yes I admit defeat], I headed off to the meet at Dave and Busters. Surprised that we actually had a lot of folk come out.

It was me, Reach [06 CG TSX w/silverstars], CGTSX2004 [06 NHB TSX w/Work CAI Emotions], jmathew34 [04 SSM TSX w/ Comptech Supercharger], CrazyCool[O] [04 SSM TSX with TSW Wheels], RideSlowHomey [06 NBP TSX Cleanest one there], and lito [04 PWP JDM WHORE].

yeah get that car lowered already. schedule the next meet so I can make an appearance and then I can school chris too haha. just kidding man.

 

Good meet.. got some ideas. The back up camera is awesome, and Reach's adjustable suspension is something defintley worth looking into for anyone interested. The meet also remind me how much I need rims.

Reach, can you tell us about your back-up cam? Brand, did you install it yourself? If so, how easy was it? $$? And how long have you had it for?

I was thinking of getting one... though mine won't be used with the Navi sys as I bought mine navi-less, but cheaped out and got a separate TomTom instead.

The cam is sold by ebay user "swm902", although she hasn't had any in stock for a while now. Its the new version of the "Wendy's cam" as its called on the A/V board, because the seller's name is Wendy. If you PM her over eBay and mention acurazine, she even offers a $10 discount to our members. I've posted a bit about it in the A/V forum. Yes, I installed it myself, it was fairly easy to do, I'd rate it about the same as installing a subwoofer amp, or Dom's unit; as it requires similar cable runs and planning.

Yes, I got clipped about a month back and it took my bumper and driver's headlight. I'm rocking som used-tastic 04 oem's right now.
Heeltoe was promptly informed and has my replacement equipment already en route. Lesson: save your receipts for the insurance man. Full reimbursement.

Nice meet alot better than our meet. I should have gone to this one but our meet was a lot closer to my house. I will tried to make it to the next meet for sure.

 

We should be having a BBQ/Install meet quite soon actually.

 

Well unfortunately I won't be around for that since I'm going back to NY for the summer... BUT.. sometime in September would be good. Get that camera installed by Reach (it'd be nice) and hopefully at that point I'll have more mods.
