2 ACURA's in every driveway

Nice.

04 EL's look alot better than the 03's. And standard fogs too, not even the TSX has the damn standard fogs.

Singned, a fellow Boltonite.

I saw a 1.6EL here the other day....though I've seen many 1.7 in Toronto.

Ummm. I have never seen that car before. Is it only sold in Canada? Hmmm, looks like my Civic.

Good taste! The new EL has a more aggressive looking and it's nice. I had a 98 EL and he served me well. 5MT - amazing. How's the ride?

Your TSX...it's EXACTLY same setup as mine! (tinted, OEM kit without spoiler) I'm gussing me and you are both waiting for a good lip spoiler, haha

The ride is nice and the Potenza's are an added bonus.

the 5mt is a little long in the throw but still nice ( I see a short shifter in its future)

civic dipped in gold is right!!! heated leather, heated mirrors, climate control, etc

Something about Civic and luxury in the same sentence that doesn't sound right. How much does one of these "dipped in gold Civics" cost, maybe in US dollars if you will.....

Not much more than a 127HP Civic Sedan.

Here is CAD pricing.

EL Premium - 5MT = $25,100
EL Premium - 4AT = $26,100

EL Touring - 5MT = $23,100
EL Touring 4AT = $24,100

Civic Si Sedan 5MT = $22,510
Civic Si Sedan 4AT = $23,510

The EL Touring and Civic Si are closy matched. Neither have the Sunroof or leather and for about $600 dollars more your getting a better looking car with climate control and a few extras.

Move upto the EL Premium and you add leather and a sunroof for 2.5k more.

Guess that's not too bad. 19K for a top of the line EL. The Civic EX goes up to about 18K I think.

funny part is we could have got the same combo (PWP/ebony leather)on the EL as well....but that might have been a little over the top

You see them everywhere here so I'm kind of surprised they don't just make it a Civic in the US.

Canadian Acura dealers can't sell Canadian models to consumers in the US (the dealers pay a huge fine if they do). If you want one, I believe you have to live in Canada (with an insurance company in Canada) then move to the states with it.

Cause Acura hates us? J/k.. Probably cause they think it won't sell here... Then again, if they sell it here...people are going to bitch about how it's going to cheapen Acura's image
