You think this is overkill?

Anyway yeah .. for here an M3 with under 15 000 k/m thats a good price. and a 3 year warenty. but this thread is about the Tsx's turbo!! lets get back to that

What's up people, still playing the waiting game for a couple of more parts and off to the dyno. Just my
about the whole M3/TSX debate, I know the price of M3s and TSXs vary but the look on the face of an M3 driver as he's being walked by a TSX is PRICELESS.

Ask and you shall receive.

Only thing needed to be relocated was the battery tray but it's still in the same location, turned slightly.

Fairly promising. I own an A/T for various reasons.. I realize our transmissions are garbage, but what's the reasonable gain for an A/T if one were to sacrifice amenities for this option? It sort of seems dumb to spend lots of money on mods you can't fully utilize but then again, you don't want stuff to break because you're greedy..
Just having zero knowledge of this stuff, is it even possible for an A/T user to run some more power without problem?
Oh this is all assuming the lack of traction control, etc didn't affect the transmissions operation.

actually there aren't many examples of this happening so this is a big deal. especially if all he lost was traction control and cruise control.
WOW. Forget the new car, I am still going to keep this whip after all. The other question what the price tag on this big mod ?????????
People can post pictures of a red TSX from SoCal all they want (I am so sick of that car btw) but we never hear anything conclusive about what's under the hood, HP figures, dyno sheets, video of it running, timeslips, etc. Until we see that, any claims of a turbo TSX are bullshit as far as I am concerned.

Back to topic, I wonder what's happen to OP? He has everything on his car and what can't figure out now?
My apologies for not being more consistent with updates. Since the last time I posted, I added: a set of RC 750cc Peak n Hold injectors, Password JDM Plug n Play injector harness clips, a Vibrant flat black 3" straight through muffler and full 3" downpipe back exhaust piping, and a Walbro in-tank pump and off to the dyno I went. The first tuning session was completed with mixed results. We wanted to keep the "dead-head" fuel system as stock as possible but came to the conclusion that it won't be possible to get enough fuel for the target WHP we are looking for and maintain stock-like idle without adding a fuel return. So the next step for this project is to acquire/install: Skunk2 composite K-Series fuel rail, Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator, 30' of steel-braided fuel line and an AEM methanol-injection system.
The methanol injection was not something I was told I would need but an extra 80WHP is possible which is why I'm getting it. My tuner is setting me up with three fuel maps: low-boost pump gas (7psi), higher-boost pump gas (10-12psi with methanol injection) and highest-boost race gas (18psi). All of these maps I will be able to toggle through by pressing a button "hidden" somewhere in the dash =). Another issue we have found is the limits of the factory clutch which is something I was expecting. I don't think I'll be able to dyno again with this stock clutch so it might be awhile before the next tuning session as I am saving up for the Exedy twin-disc before I go back and I'm also considering getting the Quaife LSD at the same time because the tranny will be out (almost 3K in tranny work). The stock clutch would probably hold @ 300whp but I'm greedy which is why I'll wait to go again. My new target WHP when I go back is now 350 on pump and methanol. Wish me luck, I'll keep you guys posted. By the way, the engine management system performed beautifully.
