yellow fog light bulbs

hey guys..

i don't know if it's only my weird taste, but i find a white IS300 with the pure yellow foglights very appealing (ONLY white). i own a white TSX, and am looking to see if the same pure yellow fog light bulbs are available for the OEM foglight. cuz i really hate the gold-yellow-combined beam, i would either prefer blue-white or pure yellow.

anyone have ideas?

anyone tried these bulbs before? http://www.europeanautosport.com/yellow.htm
are they the pure yellow or the ugly gold beam like shown in the right picture on the site?

vincent

go for it, so I know what to do when I get fog lights. I like the pure yellow fogs as well.

I dunno man... ppl here mentioned All Weather bulbs, so i did a search on google. i saw these:

http://www.pgperformance.com/awbulbs.htm

http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...Id=-1&TID=1544

http://www.xtremewhite.com/ORD-Light...38-1-1-1-1.cfm
(this looks like it! but dunno if fits and expensive?)

As far as I know, OEM foglights' stock bulbs are H3 right? so will H4 bulbs fit as replacement? or it must be H3 bulbs?

i really need advice/assurance before i risk to purchase these bulbs. cuz i dunno whether they will fit or not, and whether they emit pure yellow and not gold. and i haven't purchased the foglights either.

Hey wingwing. Sorry to burst your bubble but just to let you know, if you want YELLOW GOLD bulbs just like those IS300s then the ones you ordered from supremepower WILL NOT be yellow at all. I've ordered a set from them before for my DRLs they do not even have a hint of yellow at all. I then got a set from here and they ARE yellow.

Good luck!!!

but this really convinces me...
http://img22.photobucket.com/albums/...s/HPIM1484.jpg

it really depends on the optic of the lamp.. right? since i already ordered it, i guess just hope it will have a good effect on the foglight.

Pics of my Euro OEM fogs with Candlepower Gold H3 bulbs. Despite the appearance in the pics, these are the most yellow bulbs I have tried - much more yellow than Hella Yellow Stars and Piaa Ion Yellows.

I don't understand what's so appealing about yellows lights. I much preffer the extra white stuff.

It's not really for appeal for me. Yellow makes the road brighter when it's foggy. White blubs makes it worst.

agreed. hid w/yellows rocks...experienced this in VT w/zero visibility snowfall and whites don't do anything for you at night.

If I remember correctly, my old accord v6 used h11 fog light bulbs. I changed those to Piaa ion yellow bulbs and it looked great with my 9006 hid kit.

Hey, Jeff I really like your yellow DRL, are you just change the bulb? what size is for the DRL? And where you get it from?

I think it will be prefect to have white fog light for pimp and yellow DRL for real fog...

Oh thanks!!! I got mine from suvlights.com. They are the only ones that sells Philips Narva YELLOW GOLD bulbs. The DRLs are H1s and in foggy conditions, they work really well!!!
