It comes with decent instructions on how to install, but not to remove the extra stuff.

i just wanted to read through the manual before i purchase the intake, so i have an idea on if I should install it by myself, or take it to a dealer.

What do you guys recommand? By the way, what do you mean by removing extra stuff.

its easy to install....i did the short ram install in about 20 minutes...

i think he meant extra parts as in removing the stock airbox and resonator. the instructions arent that clear in how to remove them.

I was just worried that I might break my car in the process of installing the intake. Since i'm a complete and i do mean COMPLETE n00b at installing mods. I have never installed anything on my cars in the past, and since the manual isnt clear on every step of the installation, I was afraid that I might accidentally skip a step or something.

Any advices?

as usual with an intake or cai it makes the car much more responsive and gives it a little more grunt...it willing revs to the redline which i can't say about my mazda even with a super 60 compressor t3 turbo
