What Can I do to get around 250 Whp ?
Hey what up people... I been doing alot of research on my car and I been wondering although I have a automatic and I am planning to keep my car what mods can I do to engine so I can get around 250 whp to 280 whp on a auto? It sound kinda of funny especially on a automatic but I would like least try and be the first tsx in my hood with that type of power.
This are the mod that I already have in my car
Dc Sport Headers
DC Dual Cat Back
Injen MR Technology Intake
Neuspeed Front Sway Bar
Progress Rear Sway Bar
Cisco Middle Sway Bar
Ingall Rear Camber
Ingall Front Camber
Front Vis Carbon Fiber
Vis Trunk Carbon Fiber
Hawk Performance Pad
Cross drilled rotors
This what I am planning to purchase :
Willwood 6 piston front Brake kit
11 inch rear brake conversion
HOndata Reflash
and Maybe the first Tsx with turbo
what ya guyz should advice..... I want to keep the car but I want it to go fast this sh-t is slow my friend with Si are kicking my ass ?

I havent post no picture because of my front bumper and back bumper need paint and they key my car in my hood. I think I had a hater or something.... But I my car still in work in progress.... I thinking of thinking the EURO R black window trim so I can match my Black rim with the red lining.
So The three piece pully do work... I was planing to like a 3,000 RMS watt system I am going all out for next year when i get my tax check.

Which year is your car?.. Your best bet is to go with the Comptech Supercharger with I/H/E/Highflow cat/etc. Should net you around 230whp with your auto. But if you have an 05 auto.. i dont think those ecu's are reflashable.

250 is reaching from the numbers others have posted. There's no engine management available that can deal with the turbo, which is why we haven't seen any yet. Some have postulated it might be possible with a dual ECU setup but I've not yet heard of any one trying it.
The reality is if you're hung up on speed and power, you've got the wrong car. My advice would be to stick to what the car does well, and that's handling. From the mods you've listed you've taken a good step in the right direction already.
A 3000 watt stereo isn't going to be particularly light so it's not going to do you any favors in the acceleration department.
Some dude spanked me off a light the other night in a Fit. Granted I wasn't expecting or trying to get out in front of him, but I doubt I could have anyway. It's all about the power to weight ratio, which the TSX loses at every time.

Comptech supercharger if your model is eligible, otherwise you're SOL for the 250 goal.
In fact, many of your current and planned mods are counter to your goal of more HP.
One more thing, if you are going to bother to post, please take the time and try to use proper grammar and make sentences. This is a forum for ideas, not a text message to your friends at the mall. Make it worth our time too.

Isnt hytech in the process of building a turbo kit for our car. By a chance I have a 2004 acura TSX with 41 thousand miles.

If you're desperate and willing to throw down the cash, add the Crower stroker crank along with a bore-job to bring the displacement above 2.6L (not to mention upgrading the rest of your engine internals), then throw in the supercharger. Then do some drivetrain work to keep it all from self-destructing. In other words, All Motor. Do a Google search on "K26 Stroker" and you'll get some hits on how others have managed to get substantial additional power (at substantial additional price + work).
Exactly...

I know!!! just go out and get yourself a used GTO. Just the thing doesn't fall apart as your going 100+ down the road....god knows it will fall apart sometime. Pontiac
oh..but at least you can beat an SI cause thats all that matters in the world.
Not that it doesn't matter you have better handling...better interior...better styling...all around better car than an SI right now in your TSX.

Instead of spending all that cash on mods, trade your car in and get a 230hp 328i 6MT. It'll still be faster than most, if not all, street-able fixed up TSX's. I love my TSX for what it is, but at the same time I know it's limits. I don't see the point in trying to pump a bunch of HP into this car when I know it isn't that fast...that's just my opinion.
But, my post isn't meant to shoot down your goals. If it's what you wanna do for the heck of it, or just to say you're pushing 250+ HP to the wheels, then by all means do it! I think it would be freakin' awesome. Just don't go into it with the goal of making a "fast" car.

On a dyno these parts wont even be close to those numbers

You can get 250 or more by getting a turbo kit like these guys said prior. You can get 250 normal asp. but it will be very expensive. It will involve long tube headers/ full exh. / cams/ valve springs/ k20 ported head / RSX intake & TB / hytech piggy back ecu harness to run Hondata K-pro/ Blue printed / balanced block to remove balance shafts and at that point you should be dynoing 250 or more.

The one thing everyone can agree on in this thread: it's expensive to make the TSX proper-quick.

Maybe with an adjustable powerband you can set the range really narrow and get a 250HP peak?

Although I do agree it's kind of pathetic that there is no turbo kit for out car yet. But like others have said, you don't buy a TSX if you're wanting speed and power, you get it so you look oh-so-fresh driving down the street!

Some other cars run into the same problem I think toyota for the xrs they can't chip or flash their ecu either. So certain cars with lower demands will never see much progress.
We have alot factors to deal with and basically the supercharger is reliable because they made it that way so it wouldnt wear and tear our car.
They could have pushed for more power but they choose reliability over power.
The most right now is probably an supercharger for auto.
since our torque converter won't get us past 176hp and 141 tq on a dynojet.
I forgot what a supercharger gets us on a dyno, but just know auto won't get the same amount of support as MT
