Update on the DC header

Ok check it out I just left Jtso's house I was gonna install my header but I am feeling lazy so I am gonna do it tomorrow. Johnny helped me break a stuck bolt loose. Well I didn't know where the issues were with the DC header so from reading all the problems people we having I tack welded the flex piping to the flange. Johnny looked at it and said they has already fixed the problem. On the header they have rewelded the flange and then grinded it down. So now I know where the exact problem used to be. And now DC has fixed it themselves. No worries with DC people go get one. Best bang for the buck. I will post pix tomorrow of the welding and where they ground it down.

TY for the update.

DC will eventually come. I have very satisfied with them on my previous Accord, 150K+ on the DC with no issues. By then, the stock manifold had already cracked.

Correct.

Sorry haven't installed it yet. Some personal issues have kept me from working on the car. Its been sitting in the garage for a few days. I hope to get to it either today or tomorrow.

You can look at the header and see the welding they did. Jtso took a look at it and noticed it before I did. They ground it down nice and smooth too. I was mistaken on where the problem was and welded something else. You will see in the pix I post tomorrow. Jtso's header is different than mine. Thats how we know its fixed now.

Im still waiting for them to release the a stainless steel header. I've dealt with DC and their ceramic coatings. Eventually they'll rust to shit around the flanges, and the piping will start showing spot rust.

in general I've found that internet stores don't stock anything, they are just the middle man selling stuff stored in vendor stores (like DC).
