I'm glad that you're holding onto your wheels. Your car just wouldn't be the same without them.

I try to look at it from this point of view. By getting the SC, I was not trying to achieve higher peak numbers than other cars. It was more about my gains and trying to improve on the numbers that I already had. No matter what, there will always be cars that make more HP. If I was all about straight performance, I wouldn't have gotten an auto and probably would have gotten something else besides a TSX. I don't track the car and for me this mod is about just making my car that much more fun to drive. I already love my car and the missing piece has always been a little extra power. Although numbers are great, for me, in the end it's all about the permagrin on my face whenever I hit boost

I got some PMs from people asking for availability of the Supercharger for the auto tranmission. Well, I just heard back from Comptech and the Supercharger for the Auto is now being sold.
For the auto version, you need to give Comptech a call to get on the list. They will begin shipping the Supercharger for both the automatic and manual towards the the middle/end of next week.
ECU: As part of the Supercharger package, you will need to send your ECU directly to Hondata to get the new reflash for the Supercharger.

I'm contemplating on buying this so bad for my TSX. I have a 2005 5AT but with an 04 ECU. I want to be a badass and surprise people with my new found power! I don't know what to do... Help me, Jerry! Help me!
Tsx536, have you tried to see what your supercharged TSX can do against the big boys? TL? G35.. etc? thanks.

Welcome to the board PhaseStudio!
I've only had the SC for a few days now, so I haven't had a chance to go up against too many cars. What I've noticed is that a lot of people seem to move out of the way when they see me coming. I don't know if it's the look of the car, or the headlights, or what. I don't have exhaust and am running the CT Icebox which is pretty quiet, so I don't think it's the sound of my engine. I think it was the same way even before I got the SC though. The look of the TSX seems to intimidate some people I guess.
I generally don't go out of my way to race people, but if they rev on me I'll go if there is not a lot of traffic though. I did have a RSX Type S Rev on me. He was dropped with wheels and exhaust. I was able to pull on him really hard and basically just leave in the dust. I slowed down after that, and he just kept his distance. I've seen a couple of TLs, some fixed up civics, and accords but they always seem to change lanes and let me pass.
20 more minutes and I'm off work!
...I'll let you guys know if I have any encounters on the freeway tonight

Thank you for the greeting Tsx536. Yeah, some 0-60 or quarter mile times would be nice to know. I don't race at tracks or drag. I really enjoy curvy mountain roads though! We're at 6200 ft here and the performance suffers a little. Thanks for the info.

There was a number of people who asked who could install in the Northeast area. Just FYI we offer installation services on all products that we sell: Cold Air Intakes, Exhausts, Springs, Brakes, Superchargers, and even Engine Swaps. Also, for those of you who are interested in this Comptech Supercharger Setup I have a sale going on them: Comptech Supercharger Kit Groupbuy

I'm not sure about the 0-60 times. The tough thing is getting a good launch and traction. If you floor it too hard from a stop, the tires won't grip if you're on it too much. I'll have to play with getting the best lauches. I'm a little hesistant though since my cars a daily driver and I don't wanna eat up my tires too bad. Maybe I should put my OEM wheels back on for awhile!

Yes, you can definitely spin the crap out of the tires. Last night, I was coming home from my friends on a back road and it was a little wet out. I came to stop sign, and from a dead stop with VSA off, in D Mode. I floored it! I spun'em all the way to 6500 RPMs. This was terrible for my tires, but it was fun to give it a try once. The key for improving the 0-60 times is definitely gonna be the launch. I'm going to work on getting my throttle position and timing down for good launches. I've noticed that the best way seems to be kind of light on the throttle to get your RPMs up a little, then once you hit 3k, you give it about 90% throttle and then when you get a little higher in the RPMs you go WOT.

The Comptech website has been updated. The Auto is now being sold also on the website. I know that you were having some trouble. Hopefully this helps, JMatthew34.
