I hear the one for the S2000 will give you a 9000rpm redline.

I have heard that the S2000 is one of the only Honda cars that uses a different filter from the rest. A short while ago Honda switched over to the 15400-PLM-A01 for all of its 4-cyl, and most of its 6-cyl cars, even going back 10 years or so. You might see the 15400-PLM-A02 also, its the same filter as the A01 just made by a different company.

The S2000 filter is a 15400-PCX-004.

I bookmarked this a while back:

There is a Honda Service-News bulletin that states the S2000 filter can be used in place of the current filter called for on the other Honda models.

I've been using the S2000 filter on my car and it works fine. It is a larger size than the original filter, so you'll need a different filter wrench to get it off.

The Toyo-Roki S2000 filter looks to be much higher quality than the Honeywell/Fram filter that is what Honda/Acura supplies for TSX and most other models.

dood .. i did google it .. i also went to fram's webiste .. looks like it listed the 2003 S2000 having the same filter as the 2004 TSX. and if the new s2000 filter is the pcx .. it should work right?

By that logic, yeah I guess so. Also poltergeist says there's an SB out saying it'll work.

If I were you, I'd call a Honda dealer and double check with the service dept. But that's just me.

On the other end of the spectrum they have been using the standard defacto honda oil filters on my TSX at jiffy lube and no problems.
