TSX with LSD

Cost Drivers!!!!
kick ass glad to see LSD works. I had a similar experience going from 5at cls to 6mt cls w/ HLSD. Biggest difference was the trq steer but i wouldn't trade the handling improvements of the HLSD for anything.....i'll deal with the trq steer

hey TSX007, how much did RPM charge you for the install?
I kno they charge a LOTTTTTTT, just to get my last car dyno tuned with the v-afc cost me about $800 with install.
Also how much did the LSD cost u?
Thanks man!

so RPM charged you around $350ish for the install? how long did it take for them to do the install? And your Type-R LSD was from what year? Its off the EURO-R Accord right?
Also, where could I get a JDM LSD for my TSX? Do you by any chance have the ebay guys username or any contact info?
Sorry for the many quesitons, but im very interested in this
p.s.
yea chan is a very nice and helpful guy

Noooo.... $850 was what I actually paid for the install. The car was in the shop for 3 weeks because the computer had to be reset at the dealer and the troubleshooting it took to find that the magnetic sensor was damaged and to special order the part. Without problems it would've taken 2 days max. The LSD is from a 2003 DC5 Integra Type R aka RSX(in the U.S.) not the Euro-R. I purchased it from "dateline2000" on ebay. Be aware that based on this install you can safely assume that any LSD produced for the RSX will fit the TSX. Oh by the way, don't waste your time looking for a Euro-R LSD because 1.you'll never find one and 2. it's a 2.0L engine which may possibly mean that it's the same LSD in the Type R.

The first problem was not even related to the install, it had to do with the immobilizer....the computer wasn't recognizing the code within the transponder key so the car wouldn't start....so it got towed to the dealer to reset the immobilizer system. The second problem was due to damage to the pickup sensor during the install.(the car would start but then stall after moving a few meters) It took a while to troubleshoot the problem since they had no experience with the TSX tranny. Apparently the TSX doesn't use a speedo gear it uses the pickup sensor to measure mileage.

So what you explained above about the problems...is that common to happen??? Is that a problem everyone might or will encounter when doing this type of install?
Thanks for the info by the way!

so to what degree does LSD eliminate understeer? since TSX does not understeer as much as most of other FWD vehicles, does adding a LSD totally eliminate understeer, if not, how many percent elimination of understeer in your opinion?

I thought LSD and my TSX would be a good match, but when all those cars started melting and turning into sheep, I pulled over, walked up to the top of the hill, and sat for six hours before coming down enough to drive.,...

The main reasons you don't see more LSDs on cars are:
1) cost
2) increased torque steer in FWD cars
3) 99% of the general public think that LSD was something they did in the 60's.

BTW, aren't LSD and VSA sort of mutually opposing concepts?

I actually would love to see aspecial handling package as an option on the next minor freshening for the TSX that would include the A-Spec suspension plus an LSD and some 18-inch wheels. This, coupled with a solid bump in output would make the TSX just about the perfect daily driver that could be used on the weekend as an Auto-Xer.
