Hey guys, just want to say thanks for being super patient. Getting these tsx tails out has been one of the hardest things we've done not because of difficulty, but because of how many orders and complications we've had when trying to fit these into the schedule. A lot of bad things and unplanned mishaps have gone on since january. We promised the lights would be out by the middle of the week, and we are keeping that promise, they will be sent out today via USPS express, they will be there before 3pm tomorrow. Currently, the lights are finished except for wiring in the back. They look great, Ben Sears, please don't worry about payment for now, just get them on the car you've waited long enough. You can pay when you are ready. Pictures will also be up later today. I'm running late and my typing is sloppy, so peace out guys thanks again will post again soon hopefully.

Ok these are pretty much final pics, couldnt get too many, but the only thing new from last time is the blinkers. The blinkers have a fluted lens in front of them that we can't remove or do anyhting about so the LED effect is lessened. Its still nice and very obvious that its LED however.

I got the lights and I'll be install tonight Pics to come by the morning!! (I'll be up extremely late doing the install but I'm dedicated )

my concern with mods like this or angel eyes is that its one more thing that could malfuction which the dealer could not fix and that i would have to send out to be fixed. anyone elses thoughts on this?

 

A very valid concern, I am scared of the same thing. I wouldn't touch my headlights personally, because hell people have problems with condensation anyway, opening them up is just asking for it.

The only reason I'm ok with this is I think it is worth the risk. I find it embarassing the Prius and Accord have LED's and we don't. But I agree with you and I'm nervous as well. Although I trust Mike would fix anything that happend.

 

I assume this means that you took off work tomorrow. So I expect you to be more dedicated if you are doing the install tonight and post pictures tonight too. Dont worry I will be up too see.

 

ok good so its not just me then...i have found that for me personally, when it comes to modding my car, if something can go wrong it usually will.

 

Just hurry up and get it install. And take some pictures with it on. With the brakes on and off. I want to see what its going to look like. Thanks for taking one for the team.

I reinstated CCColts back to the club because of the JDM steering wheel mod. Until you came up with a bigger JDM mod next you will remain banned

Wow... ok just to let you all know I just worked on my car from when I got home until now (that includes other stuff) But damn, I'm tired...

I'm waking up in three hours to get the wheels and tires on the car and then I will be finally driving my car with all the mods I currently have in my house installed...

ANYWAY... to get to the lights. They look AMAZING!!! Def a huge improvement! The install was easy but time consuming. If you can splice two wires together you can do this. There is one tiny, and I stress tiny problem but I will let Mike resolve it before I even mention it to you guys. Something that can easily be fixed, and not something that is crucital at all.

I know I am going to get tons of but I am having problems taking pics that really show the lights. How the hell do I do that?? I took a few but you can't really see the circles. The pics off the car really don't do them justice. They are by far my favorite mod to date.

 

Well now I feel shitty that I won't be seeing your car tomorrow. Till next time...
