Okay, sorry for the shitty quality. but because I am so freakin excited for these things, I wanted to do a little photoshop animated gif flie to show you guys the pattern i'd like someday, and to give an idea of how hot this could look on our cars. personally for me i wanted to get rid of one of the 3 circles in our tail lights to mix it up a bit... but i dont even know if auergx can do that... either way this is my vision... what do u guys think??

okay to clairfy when the brake lights are on, I modified it so that the spoiler lights up too but it wont let me edit the post above so click on this one instead to get the full effect....

i prefer the 3 circles too, is it hard to get all the red circles to illuminute their centers upon braking? thats what i would like to see.

 

I think the circles is the way to go, that looks pretty hot.

 

you know now that i look at it at 1PM rather than 4:30AM, I realize i like the 3 circles more too... but like i siad i dont even know if the 2 circle design was a possibility...

I just hope they use large LEDs; like the ones in the G35 coupe. the little tiny ones that i've seen in the pictures of the IS300 etc... aren't my bag of soup.

I definitely like the 3 circles better....Lets see the price of these babies once their done.

 

They def need the big LED and they need to be in a circle. The other ones dont look good.

Another reason to go w/ 3 circles is it matches up the front, so it flows.

Cal and I'm willing to personally drive out to you (that is, if it's not too far) so you can do the conversion. Is that a possibility? yea the 3 circles would look better on the tsx cuz its straight across... the circles and lines looks better on the g35 cuz of the way the lights are shaped....

 

ok i think you should redo the gif of the circles and make both circles centers light up for the brakes. also make the turn signal be the center of the outer circle and the outer line you already have. i would love to see that.

 

Wow good job on that photoshop, its hot! However, I don't think the two circle design can be done, if it can, it will probably require cutting and possibly some custom molding. The three circle design is what I had in mind. Don't worry guys its gonna look good. Anyone with spare taillights? Thanks,

but isnt that just the outer part or did you buy the inners too.

 

I dont drive the car enough now for it to matter though, I can be out of the car for a while and not have it be a big deal

I don't know what the intention is from whoever is building this. If the intention is to build this as a direct replacement (meaning no tempering at the wiring) of the factory tail lights, then the center of the circles in the trunk lid will not light up because that's the way they are now....they won't come on for the brakes.

You can always slpice the wires such that the lights in the trunk lid can come on for the brakes. However, this won't be a direct replacement then and the builder of this LED light has to install one more LED in the center in order for this to work.

BTW, I like the 3 circles better.

I see whatcha mean... hmm i guess its up to aeurgx.... but i think everyone agrees the easier the direct bolt on the better... i REALLY dont wanna screw with the factory wiring... i mean unless it'd be REAL simple.
