I came across the engine component page in the service manual and noticed some interesting design of the TSX engine.

Notice the large chain drive oil pump with the large bottom oil pan and oil jets. I hope this is a good indication of a very reliable engine capable to handle boost.

 

the only weakness i see in the eingine is that its an open deck..you can always change out the pistons and rods for more strength and lower compression so im not too worried about that but i will be getting sleeves from AEBS one of these days

Hey JTso! Can you tell me where can I get an Intake manifold heat shield?

 

Hey hfx1279, the intake manifold heatshield doesn't exist. It's simply a photochop image. However, I'm in the process of creating one, just need to find the right material.

 

JTso im in WA now too if you need some help making that shield ill be glad to lend a hand and we can make 2 of them...like u said im looking for the right material also
