TSX CUSTOM EXHAUST/Spring Mods
Hey yall, just wanted to know few things regarding the exhaust system. First off, changing the rear end of the exhaust from the split onwards(meaning muffler and pipes leading to split area), will it result in descent power gains and is it worth it?
Secondly, the eibach sport line dropping TSX 1.6 front and 1.9 rear do you think its a good set of springs? If not what springs do u recommend...
Lastly does the gear shifting smoothen up with a after market exhaust system....?
Thanks..

aftermarket exhaust wont give u much gain, more of a appearance and sound look, unless you get the I/H/E combo, with a nice open cat, you can get some nice decent powers..
the EIback sportlines, never tried, but i have Pro-kit. It's alright, decent ride comfort. BUt sportlines might suck for comfort though since it's lowered so much on stock shocks~

If you're going for a simple drop with springs, the eibach is the best IMO, but if you want shocks that match, you're probably better off with coilovers

If I get coil overs, which ones do you suggest and is it possible to leave them at same height all the time, will this give me a better ride? The exhaust is mostly acoustic and esthetic.......thanks for your opinions guys...

Transmission and Exhaust have nothing to do with each other. Until you can show me proof, I must call BS on this myth.
