tsx 04 header

i need help deciding which headers to get from ct header weapon r? I live in texas mods I have in my tsx 04 injen cai skunk cat bak exhaust future getting hondata and pulleys. I know wr gives more hp but it smells bad replaces the cat converter the ct its bolt on and fits to the cat converter but less hp gain. would the wr header and no cat be better than ct header with a ramdom technology high flow cat? any dynos?

Pmd. CtE is good power, noticeable, CARB legal, Oem fit, allows for use of OEM or aftermarket Catalytic converter.
weapon R makes great power, not good if your car has emissions testing. only way to use Cat is by welding on to the test pipe.

plenty of information out there. really depends on what your looking for. anything with a test pipe will make more power. get a 06 cat and CTE adn your going to get nice gains.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, I just wanted to clarify some things. So basically if I were to buy a CTE aftermarket header, I can still keep the OEM cat and not have to worry about inspection problems?
But if I were to buy the Weapon R, I would make more HP gains but have issues when it comes to inspection?
The CTE header doesn't make as much HP as the Weapon R but its still better then stock right?
Thanks.

That's about the same price that I paid eight years ago, and I haven't had any issues since then. I'd say: go for it.
