wow very weak looking the euro r accord one looks better cause the carbon chamber is 2x as long. not worth the money at all. If I buy a new intake it will be gruppeM or j's racing if it ever makes it out of the rumor phase.

local shop. i went in to buy some birthday present for my friend and i found a box labeled zero1000 along with 04 TSX. so i opened it up and it contained TopFuel intakes. cf intake chamber seems to be smaller than other applications

honestly looks like a pretty bad design. SRI's are only good when used in conjunction with a decent heat shield.

^ Serious? He means SRI's are only good when used with a decent heat shield to minimize the effects of heat soak.

like the picture above. cone filter is covered by heat shields. this is to prevent short ram sucking in hot air.

carbon chamber for our application is very small compared to something like this.

description from topfuel:

PowerChamber is an upgrade item only for NA. It is the anxious uselessness of a power down. And it can attach easily. Furthermore, PowerChamber has the effect of an upgrade of 5H.P. or more on the average. The secret of the power and a torque rise is in Chamber of worm form, and a screw type air cleaner. The internal structure is the crystal of hydrodynamics. It is filled up compressing air from an aircleaner to Chamber using air pulsation.Air with deep density is sent into Combustion Chamber like a turbo. Therefore, the upgrade which was not considered is possible until now.The functional design makes an engine room refinement more.

PowerChamber has adopted the exchange filter system which is excellent in cost performance. Maintenance is also very easy. When a filter becomes dirty, please exchange for an optional exclusive replacement filter. You then can maintain the performance of the wonder of PowerChamber.

I was going to get the JDM one for the CL7, judging that it is the CHEAPEST JDM intake for the CL7/9. But, I still have doubts of it being a SRI and teh rumor that SRI produces more torque for the car and CAI is more for the higher rpm. Since I drive my car in low rpm most of the time, I don't care for hp. just torque.

I concur with what most have said in this thread. Where can you even purchase the above intake? It looks very interesting.
