So my theory was correct on the Toda header. It's the shit.

Horsepower dyno:

Torque dyno:

Let me know if you need a towel.

What do you mean what's with it? More details?

Why is it that I can't post pics that are over 1k? Am I not one that deserves some priviledges? :P

Kurt that's one badd ass rig you've got there. I like the peak torque increase at 5000. Should make a very noticable difference. What are the mods again?

You have to link to the photos using an [img] tag hence the 1k limit.

What other mods does the car in the dyno have? I wonder if we would get the same gains from the TSX. The comptech header gains are not near as good as this, so i'm a bit sceptical.

I just realized this is from your RSX-S?

I initially thought this was a TSX dyno.

That RSX is pimpin, 212 at the wheels!? Definately want to know if there's an exhaust on there, if not I'd be happy going intake and header for my TSX and no exhaust.

That's awesome, now I'd be more than happy to get my TSX at 212 at the wheels. That seems a hell of a lot better than this 183.4 stuff. What are the mods?

I said that part about Napster because I was bored earlier and it sounded funny at the time I guess. I also watched that old video last night.

LoL that's a shit load of stuff man. I think I'll go with some headers, Hondata chip, and Hondata gasket and we'll see what that does. I really don't have a ton of money to pour into this car, I've already put $2850 into it in exhaust, intake, and rims/tires.

As soon as the head gets back from Hytech the swap goes down. There is also a set of JE pistons to go in.

I'll never tell...

You think I have to pay for all my parts? I've been involved in racing for about 5 years, have gotten a couple years of parts distribution under my belt, and just happen to be a pretty good deal maker. What do you think I've had to pay?

not sure to tell you the truth as I really never mod my cars.

just inquiring as you got quite a list of things there. Roughly how much would those things cost if I wanted to mod my car?

$200 for the Injen, $300 for the cams, $300 for the intake manifold, $400 for the clutch, $300 for the flywheel, $300 for the Phantom Grip, $50 for the IM gasket, $600 for the flash ($1000 for the K-Pro), $100 for the head gasket, $300 for the EVO, $1200 for the header, $50 for the MM inserts, $100 for the torque dampener, $400 for the fender braces, $100 for the shifter (plus $20 for the bushings), $1700 for the coilovers, $120 for the x-brace, $150 for each of the strut bars, $120 for the rear lower tie bar, $300 per Spoon rotor, and as for your mom, well, she's cheap...

All said on those parts, you're looking at nearly $8000. Not to mention the Rota Slipstreams with the Falken Azenis Sport tires that will run you another $700, the Weld wheels for the slicks (easily another grand), and you then have to consider the 3 times I've been to Bondurant to get my skills a bit more perfected. The first course was "High Performance Driving" : $2895 for 3 days, "Intro to Racing" : $925 for 1 day, and "Advanced Road Racing" : $4850 for 3 days. Yes, I did do this on 3 separate trips. You think I could crack out an extra 9k that easily?

Yeah, but did you look at the images of the gains? At least for the torque one, I hope?

Yeah, so a side note for those of you that have read on my for a while...I have switched over (to what my other writer refers to as the Dark Side) to service a little while back. I love it. Can't believe I didn't do it a long time ago. I also just made a deal with the NSXCA to host their yearly Texas chapter event at our store next month. Cool huh?

Hey Kurt, do you have a pic of the Toda header? I'd like to see what type of design that contributes to such nice performace gain.

Thanks,
