Tinting Headlights
I saw on the Rockblocker website that he was selling a headlight tint kit.
Has anyone tried this?
I'm thinking about just putting smoked tint over the orange diffuser on the outside of the headlights. Has anyone tried this? How do you think it would look?
I've thought about opening my headlight, and tinting it on the inside, but I'm kind of hesitant to break the seal.

I actually experimented this a while ago with using those cheapo self-tint films that you can get from any auto store.... I think it looked ok, and better than the stock amber color.. too bad I forgot to take pics of the ghetto experiment before the tint film flew off the car after two days I think this would actually work if you took out the headlight and wrap the film around the light and secure it in the engine bay area... it's still a bit ghetto I think, but works...
One problem I ran into was that the amber diffusers have a curve at towards the front of the car, and it was hard to cut and align the film to fit that curve, and also you can see a bit of the amber from directly in front of the car, unless you cut the film straight so that it covers it, and not follow that little curve.
I was thinking about those removable sprays, not sure how good they work... If they work well I would like to use the blue ones to tinit the side view mirrors

There are like 6 o7 different paint protection kits out for our car. I dont think tint would last that long on your headlights. The rain would wash it off after a while. There aren't many colored paint protections films out yet either. I'm gonna chack when I get back to the shop in the morn. Hopefully my Venture Sheild roll comes in so I can hurry up and cut my car out and protect that bad boy!

How much does it run and as with tinting do you need it professionally installed?
