Thoughts on dyno?
Well finally got my runs in. Im not dissapointed with the results, but i am also not pleased. I ran the car at nighttime, it was 82 degree when doing the dyno and just finshed raining. Now what i do not understand are the torque numbers i got. Why are they so low? The hp looks about right the the torque is nowhere near what it should be. I have an AT with i/h/e and hondata. Is my reflash screwed up??? Comments appreciated.

That dyno is hard to read. The torque curve is just missing from some points and they didn't give you RPM as the X-Axis.
What RPM was that 132lb ft of torque recorded at? Without knowing that, how do you know if it's good or bad?

that is true, all the dynos were done in 3rd gear so are those tq numbers showing from 50-75 the time when they were getting it up to 3rd gear??? I do not know the rpms at all for the peak power. Why would they have a dyno graph with the mph's instead of the rpms???

The more I look at it, the more I'm convinced that this dyno was pointless.
Asside from the peak numbers, there's not much else you can get from it. The curves are meaningless since you don't know what RPM the engine is spinning at. I guess you can work it backwards using gear ratios and tire size but you'll introduce rounding errors into the equation.
I think you should find another tuning shop if you want to get something useful.

yeah, i didnt realize the graph was going to be like this until i actually finshed the run. It was a hp/tq competition between the different classes of engines (cyl #, and NA or FI), so im guessing thats all they really needed to dyno for was peak numbers. I was really looking forward to seeing exactly what my car is producing with all this money i put into it, kinda sucks that im left not knowing

Tires werent a factor for me. The graph sucks. My torque is deffinately not that low. My car is pretty quick in my opinion. It just seemed wierd, maybe now that i think of it they didnt even use tiptronic... i didnt hear my rev limiter once.

Man you got all the bolt ons and everything.. and max hp is showing around 180whp.. i woulda guessed around 200 with I/H/E hondata.. arent most rsx-s runnin that.. sorry havent been around the honda world for a while.. jus checkin in.. BTW I rode in both triz and dzuys complete bolt on cars, both with hondata.. both are way quicker than a stock tsx, its kinda scary to see these guys go way past to redline since they got it raised from hondata.. and the cars are pretty quick.. id expect better numbers from this dyno... dzuy how much u puttin down with ur car?

His HP is about exactly where it should be. 160 stock + ~16 for I/E/H as Hondata does nothing for peak HP.
What concerns me is that dip in HP. I thought Hondata eliminated that dip? Your TQ should have been ~150ish I think.
Another dyno is the only way to fugure it out.

im sure they didnt save any of the dynos. The place had been doing dynos non-stop from 11 am to 11 pm. Hundreds of cars went. I really dont think he used tiptronic, because every other dyno i saw the guy perform he hit the redline or rev limiter, but didnt one time during the 3 runs he did on mine.
Dzuy, since i got that header, my cars feels hella quicker. I wont be in orlando til next semester starts in fall. But i expected to be putting up alot better numbers than that. Another dyno will justify everything.
