For those with JDM headlights...

Are the differences in lighting that much different that you will really be blinding oncoming traffic?

You have 2 options, either blind oncoming traffic (i used to get flashed a bit) or lower the beams and have less light on the road than you're used to. Since I've lowered them, I've made the decision to swap back to my us projectors. I just need enough free time to tear down the bumper again and do the swap.

By all means, get the JDM lights, but while you've got both sets of lights out, swap the projectors. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes for each light.

I think Excelerate has some in stock, that's be worth even just a little extra $$ to get them from california in a week instead of japan in 6-8 weeks.

I think they are like $350 *each* retail.

OMG, as much as I love the clear corners, I put the JDM headlights on the OVERPRiCED list for mods.

It should be only about 400 for the whole set.

Even the Bimmer guys dont have to pay that much to get clear corners for their 3series or the M3

Are you saying you never got flashed with the stock lights? We did....those things are bright, RHD or LHD, and they aim high. I don't think there is a real major difference.

i take it you are buying the ones off ebay then. i would think you can just swap the projectors out but i do not know. those housings are sweet though cause they come with the auto leveling motors however to bad there is no way to use them with our cars.
