With some help from comptech i believe that we are going to unpin all the wires that don't have any thing to do with vtec. With that being said and in a perfect world the vtec will hit at 3k and we will have completed the project. Nothing has been this easy thus far so I am expecting the worse. To be continued.....

What RPM do you hit max torque? I'm assuming that you'd be hitting it when VTEC kicks in at 5k, but how does the curve look?
At 8-9psi, I'm guessing the Roots is running pretty hot at this point. I'm wondering what would happen if you were to add a water/methanol injection kit to lower the IAT. The only problem with those is that if you dyno tune for them and accidentally let the resevoir run dry, you'll run lean and BOOM goes your engine...
If everything works out (crossing my fingers), I might have to join the super-supercharged club .

nice job bro...lookin good I would hafta agree with dayta and say go get yourself a nice water/meth kit. Id have your tuner make you 2 maps with the water/meth. Obviously do this when you get your vtec crossover fixed and the car is running 100% like it should. Have one map as just a normal chemical intercooled DD map and then have the second one leaned out a lot since you cant add timing to pick up a few more ft lbs/tq and whp. This way even if you end up running the res. dry on the first map its not so aggressive where your gonna cause damage to the motor

That looks like it is my final number. 270 whp and 208 tq. We fixed the vtec and it hits at 3k. At this point we are just trying to fine tune it. The fuel trims are still causing a problem because we have guessed at them. On normal driving it will it will sputter alittle. We are trying to get our hands on a scanner to be able to get a datalog and correct this problem. Will keep everyone updated. I will do a full write up when everything is completed. I will post a dyno as soon as i get a chance.

wow.. nice job. 208 tq SOUNDS kinda weak but I guess its what happens with a small honda I4... bet it feels real nice when you punch it though.
edit: sounds weak in comparison to the 270whp you got... most boosted engines that ive seen have a pretty equal hp/tq rating.

I haven't gotten to drive it yet. I have been busy at work and it has been at the shop for a week and a half. I am not sure if you saw the video of me running with the turbo accord or not but they ran today and the tsx supposely walked him.

Its still not acting right. Everythign is great under boost and above boost. The switch over is messing up. I have been driving it the past few days and its not something I think anyone would want to drive with. right when it hits 0 vaccum its freaks out for like 1sec and then his boots at 5psi. The feeling is like running out of gas. Not sure really what to do at this point. I have thought about putting the 3.2 pully back on and trying to just run the ACM with stock injects. The 3.2 only add 2-3 psi. I am really frustrated at this point. Once you hit boost though now it is such an amazing feeling. A feeling that I dont' want to get rid of lol. I'll keep everyone updated. I'll give you everything if you want but at this point I wouldn't think about doing it because of this problem.

From what is says on the aem website with the new software update it should control everything. The problem you are having may be coming from running the two controllers. what software are you running of the aem?

Looks/sounds great (minus the minor wheel spin, hehe)! Just out of curiosity, what two indicators are lit on your console in the video? Is one of them VSA?
So are all the kinks worked out now?

Great job Ben!
I've been following this closely. Props on being persistent and not giving up! Sounds like you almost have all of the kinks worked out.
You look to be running lean at about 6700 RPMs and up. You should keep monitoring that, possibly add some fuel up top. Check the duty of your injectors and make sure you're not hitting max duty around that point.

The black line at 12.5 on the AFR graph...is this your target value? If it is, then I assume you're running closed loop (set a target AFR and let the controller read wideband AFR values and feed fuel to meet that desired AFR)? Or, are you running open loop (controller only feeds fuel according to what your cells are set at, and completely disregards the O2 sensor)?

Although I would avoid getting above 80% duty cycle with aftermarket injectors as it is not recommended. Being open without enough closure time can cause the pintle valve to float partially open throughout, injecting more fuel than you would like. Honda OEM injectors, for whatever reason, do not seem to exhibit this problem (per Hondata).
