stainless steel braid lines

where do you buy them and who makes good ones? it makes a nice engine bay dress up item.

i entered a small car show last week and a few cars had them - it's pretty nice.

they even had a slight gunmetal tint to the braid - and a nice blue clamp to hold the braid in place.

thanks.

Why didn't you just ask the owners of the cars at the show?

Fair enough...I know that Comptech usually carries the lines. You can try there since you're buying everything else from them.

You should have said that earlier. Just go to your local car parts store (Checkers, AutoZone, whatever you guys have) and they'll have a set. Usually with blue, red, or black connectors. Think it's like 40 or 50 bucks.

The post title should've said "stainless steel braid "look-alike covers" instead.

You don't want the covers. If your gonna do it follow the trend you have already set for yourself. Do it right and expensive. Get the actual Steel braided hoses. Not covers. Some of the covers are poor quality and start to unravel and you can see your rubber hose under it. I been to alot of shows and the cars with those suck. They lose alot of points when they are able to see the rubber hoses through the braided ones.

You could also go with the Spoon ones (blue piping kit), providing piping on the Euro-R and the TSX is the same.
