Sprint Booster?

Has anyone heard of this product? I just noticed that my local Acura dealer is selling it for the TSX. It seems like some crappy gadget that wouldn't do anything aside from some placebo effect for the mind

Anyhow, check it out and tell me what you think http://www.sprintboostersales.com/index.htm

There was just a big thread on this. The site itself states that it will not improve performance, only your perception of it. That would be all fine and good if they weren't charging $350 for it. At that price it better come with a months worth of blowjobs.

I tried it out on my 03 6spd maxima..it doesn't increase power per say, but my car definitely had a much quicker response, which would probably result in zipping around faster (ie: high up in a gear just tapping the gas and the car would move in about 1/3 the time). I didn't end up buying it b/c I was considering selling the car, they were only $299 for the maxima though.

The dealers really sell this stuff? All these things are gimmicks, that maybe make the car run a little lean or rich, but aren't going to net you any actual performance. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is otherwise everybody on here would have it. Besides, the only thing we can do for our ECU right now is get Hondata

Everyone wouldn't have it because alot of guys dont like forking out hundreds of dollars on parts that you either cant see or your not gonna get huge gains from. So for minimum gains i think its over priced. But its the only one of its kind so they can put any price they want because there's no competition. Even if it made 1 or 2 hp, no other spark plugs make hp. They may work but they just cost too much IMO.
