A-Spec for TSX

A-Spec for TSX
So what is this supposed to give the car? New sway bars? Springs/struts? Appearance package? And how much is it supposed to add to the MSRP?
Thanks in advance...thinking of getting a new TSX in a year or so.

It's about an inch drop and the all the aero parts are the same as you can buy in the aero kit. The only difference being is a little sticker you get to put on the back that says "A-Spec". That sticker runs about $2000 over the normal body kit with A-Spec suspension.

The kit is ~4K right.
Suspension alone - ~600
Body Kit ~ 1K
Wheels ~1K
Tires ~ 600
$3200?

Or $20.00 on eBay.
Thanks for the info. $600 doesn't sound too bad for the springs/struts combo (I assume they're pre-assembled?)

Yes, pre-assembled and relatively easy to install (took me maybe 4 hours with a lift, and I don't have much experience working on cars). I bought my A-spec suspension for $400 used. A good investment; ride quality is still good, but body roll in corners is vastly reduced.
Couple the A-spec suspension with a stiffer sway bar and summer tires, and the handling limits are further than most drivers feel comfortable pushing.

I remember the dealer telling me $4200 not including installation...I would suggeest just getting the suspension, aftermarket sway bar and buying tires of your choice instead. I got the suspension and CT sway for under $1000 installed. Good deal IMHO.

CT = Comptech? Front and rear? I've installed sway bars and trailing arms before...rear was a piece o' cake. Front was such a pain that I gave up paid someone else to do it!
Don't really see any performance advantage in the wheels, since they're still 17". Will 225/17s fit on the stock rims?

If it's performance you are after, replace the stock wheels with lightweight 17s. My 17x7.5 SSR Comps weight in at 13.5 lbs, which is like 8-9 lbs per corner lighter than stock. Only get larger diameter wheels for looks; their extra inertia only slows you down.
