Uhm, I believe they are the EXACT same bulbs as on the TSX, so swapping would get you nothing. Any difference in appearance would be due to the projector used on the s2k. I couldn't see anyone swapping out the TSX projector as its basically as good as you can get for a projector (s2k's projector is no slouch either tho).
Still, crazier things have been done.

So its the projectors. Because when i was in front of this sk2, his HIDS was nice and really bright! Don't get me wrong, i love my HIDs. Just seeing what is the differents between my HIDs and the S2K.

TSX projector lenses are actually some of the best and most sough on the market to date. You can actually take the lense portion and use a Lexus RX330 reflector backing and you get the uber crisp TSX cutoff with a wider beam pattern and still can avoid hotspots. There is a very cool HID forum where people are so into retrofits and projectors and stuff you would think they were crazy. There was a guy on the board I am on and he actually got 15+ different projectors and tested them all for cutoff, pattern, width, etc.
In regards to the original post, they are the same bulbs. Obviously the projectors are different but here are some things to take into account and possibly look into:
1 - how many hours of use your bulbs have. the typical HID bulb gets a few thousand, but still, has time fades on, so does light quality.
2 - the aiming of your headlights. our cars sit higher than a S2k, so he is already at an advantage for actual ground brighntess (if that is what you are comparing). If you want LESS intensity and MORE coverage, raise your aiming up slightly. If you want MORE intensity and slightly LESS coverage, lower them a tad. I had mine higher for a while but prefer the more intense output for city driving since the range only does so much around town, so I ended up lowering mine just a stitch.
3 - as another poster stated, the actual bulb you are using. Do some more research and you will find there are two major german manufacturers of HID bulbs for the entire world and that are ever so slightly different in there temperature rating once they are broken in as well as the "general" light output coloration.
